Well, I duel on east, and I typically use a wizardspike when I need stacked resists or the extra quick foh get off, such as when I am dueling a teleporting sorc, other templar, or necro/hammerdin. In any of these cases, standing there is a no no and you need the fcr to get your hits in. Granted, I am a v/t, so I do have other options, but I am a templar half the time, and I almost always use a spike. However,

to the original poster, if those are your two choices, then the 2xfaceted one is better because in a templar fight, its not the damage that kills, its the negative resists. Still, remember to stack your own, and if you don't like the way he turned out, remake him!
