My friend is going to use 2x hoto for the weapon switch. He claims it boosts warcries (which it does) and he can also cast super fast for casters (true). My question is, is this even possible to do in a duel??? your talking about a LOT of weapon switching. I'd imagine things would go like "run-switch-tele-switch-ww-miss" repeat until there's a hit.

In my experience - yes, 8k ought to be enough. I run 6k without enchant or angelics and hit necros/sorcs/most windies fine.

I don't have a BvC barb so I'm not sure, but since I'd imagine most casters besides Hammerdins have around 1-3k ar tops. So 6k should be plenty of AR to hit most casters.

the most AR you will ever need on a bvc barb is the AR u have with botd/beast/arreats with 2x raven + enchant, which is only necessary vs a few pallys (with perf defense gear, high lvl HS).
otherwise, AR is negligible

Switching after a tele never worked for me, you lose valuable time switching which gives your opponent time to tele away/get an attack off.

Just a little side note, as I still run into people sometimes that don’t know this: When you want just a tiny bit more life and do not care about your lvl Shout, use a decent lvl BO (3 or more) Cta and a warcry weapon/hoto for a lvl 7 BO.

No shocking info but it can’t hurt either.

you save a point in battle command too if you do this, but lose 3 points of shout. 40 regen on 2 hotos is pretty cool sometimes, it dominates poison necros (GODD*AMMIT LAST 1 HEALTH DONT GO DOWN)

It was sad to see blobs depart in his guide thread.Had he just slated the mods on his rings & boots(like-use a ring with these mods..) instead of giving the name of the rare-which immidiately implies dupes,situation wouldn't have turned that ugly since some of them were complaing its a guide based on items available on the said realm,which it isnt.

Yes, they will be able to tele away. No, leap isn't the solution to extremely defensive druids. I got spanked by one hard yesterday and I have no freaking clue how to beat him. Feels kind of sad that he could tank 3-4 perfect triangles and not lose more than 1/2 of his life. The rest of the duel he just played defensive like mad and the usual tactics (either leap/tele/ww or just tele/ww) didn't work.

I guess you have to resort to blobs strategy which he posted earlier, i.e. random desynched whirls. At least that should solve your tele/1-2nado/teleaway/recast-problem luis, since you wont get hit if you're whirling.

Anyway, what gear do you guys use vs druids. I hate using fcr-rings instead of ravens, being frozen kills my mobility. I guess this isn't as important and that dungos+2x fcr rings is the best setup. The problem is that hurricane starts to hurt with crappy coldres...

Btw, regarding namelock:
If you hotkey double throw you can use it to namelock people on the spot, i.e. nn to switch to unsummon/whatever. Simple and handy, gogo AA =)

and i tried desync wws , but with ravens which i use it burn my mana to quick and its not as effective i would like to ;/

widow till they tele to you then ww on a spot, 99% will teleport on you thinking you still got widow in your hands... Or widow till lifetap triggers (smiters use lifetap so why you cant? oO) and then its ezpk
