Hc bonemancer?

Hi, Is a bonemancer good for PvM, when you don't have much überstuff. I have so little stuff you could say he's untwinked. So I don't have 10 p/b skillers etc.
Would I kill good and be able to stay alive, or do I reall need good stuff?

Bonemancers can go untwinked. Do a search for a thread we recently had about untwinked Bonemancers.

If you are going HC however it might be more advisable to start a different Necro first and then your Bonemancer. Not that it can’t be done, but it would be safer.

I've been mostly a summoner kind of guy, but then I thought what the heck, give the boner a try. Trouble is BONE SPIRIT scares the bejeezes out of people (It's even more scary if you open a portal first). It's good for laughs, I don't hunt people or pick em off though, just good for laughs every now and then.

Anyway I didn't really understand the in's and out's of actually using the little guy. So I've been goofing off to see what works best for this mana sucking monster. Maybe mantis can tweak my style. I bone prison the beasts, amp them, bone spirit one or two and then corpse explosion the rest. Works great outdoors!

I need to practice indoors in tight areas. But it's fun.

Not that I don't like it.
I have started a skelemancer allready.
I've been playing diablo for a year, and necro's r my favorites :worship:

I bone prison the beasts, amp them, bone spirit one or two and then corpse explosion the rest.

Why do you amp them? Is it for CE? Cause it doesn't affect your bs dmg does it :scratch:

He Amps them for the CE. This way once he has cursed he can continue with his attacks until the pack is dead. No need to stop halfway during your attack and cast a curse.

You are right, Amp doesn't increase the BS damage. Nothing does.

Could it be posible that concentration increase bs dmg? Cause it is a magical attack as blessed hammer

Concentration can be used to increase the damage, but it is not possible for us Necromancers to increase the damage from our BS. So if you can find a Pally, then go for it.

From what I can recall, Concentration can increase the damage from BS.
