Haven't been on for 5 months.

Well today I decided to play again since the last blizzard screw up 5 months ago (The email scam). I have questions if you don't mind.
I play on USEast, what's the most valuable items right now? Are there still hack/dupes going on? What's the most powerful dueling class? What would be a good starting class for me now? Also, if anybody don't mind, can I have some of your low level set items that you never use? Isenharts/Beserkers/etc.

most valuable item -- i dont know if it is THE most valuable but it is the most sought after "Enigma" Runeword

Are there still hacks/Dupes -- I am not to sure about the hacks but if there is i have not herd of them or just plain ol' cant remember and yes there is still Duping but no were near the same Quantities as before.

The MOST powerfull dueling class -- In my opinion is would be the Pally hands Down but might say necro.

Best class to start out with -- probably Necro they are pretty easy to play without super great awsome gear if ya know what i'm sayin

I don't play east, but uh. .what's the e-mail scam?

It would seem impossible to scam someone with the account recovery system because when you go to change the e-mail it sends your current e-mail a message confirming it doesn't it?

If i remember correctly the email scam involved someone registering the same account as you on a different realm and then requesting password recovery, i tihnk it used to be buggy and send the acct password to the account on a different realm as well.. correct me if im wrong

to my knowledge, what happened was this:

1. someone makes a clone account on a different realm
2.registers it under their email address
3. does password recovery
4. replies to the password recovery email, but changes the email it replies to to a different realm (ex: change [email protected] to [email protected])

somehow this worked, but i was never victim to it so im not sure of the exact details

Most sought after items - new runewords (Enigma, Breath of the Dying, Heart of the Oak), high runes, sojs (on ladder).
Duping - couple rune dupe sprees took place but nothing serious.
Hacking - no hacked, buggy items whatsoever, mh still here, botting too. Drop hack just got out. Noting seriuos here too.
As for cookie cutter duelers - paladins and necros, but sorcs and elemental druids popular too. Mainly all caster characters were boosted in 1.10 and melee now sucks (unless you play vs. another melee).
I play on West so can't help ya with items, sorry.

There Are hacked items still, some dupes lying around too. ShadowCollar, Arma Fletch,that +2/48mf% one, and both spurs didn't get hit by the rust storm.
Nonladder East, may be on other realms / ladders, there's a bugged Tal's armor.

(how could you forget CoH!) my favourite armor so far :clap: its...damn well amazing is what it is.
