Hate to admit it, but Bush got sandbagged

That question on whether he made any mistakes was practically impossible to answer, he was screwed no matter what he said. It is annoying me how democrats are using this to rip on him so bad, Clinton couldn't have done any better. What could he have said? "I would not have had sexual relations with that woman."? No, I am sure he would have dodged it better but with similiar results from the Republicans.

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Bush and hope he gets hammered in the next election, but if you are going to go for the jugular like that at least give some warning.

I'm not a Bush fan either, but yeah that's kinda like one of those job interview questions where they ask you what your worst trait is or what kind of garbage you'd be if you were garbage. There's no real way to answer or dodge that question without getting ripped on. Especially after being interrogated for half an hour.

I think the entire line of questioning was pointless. None of the questions were questions that the majority of Americans would have wanted, most were about what he thought about what already happened.....thats not what Americans care about...they want to know whats in store.

No - you? Not a Bush fan?

In case peeps haven't realized, this whole business has become nothing but a smokescreen, promoted by both parties for a variety of unpleasant reasons. As public servants, the commission owes you better than what they're delivering.

In the meanwhile, the Dems are doing a far better hatchet job than the Repubs are. It seems like only once the fringy-rights do the research themselves does the commission bother to investigate it. Have they even considered the Clinton PDB, or the NORAD wargame about suicide 747's?
