Has this ever happened to you?

I was doing some solo baal runs with my frost zealot in Norm and was taking a beating from the second wave of minions and baal's decrepify. I saw my life drop to half, then as I tried to move back from the minions so I could tp to town, I took a serious and hit my life bulb emptied as I went to save and esc. It said that I had 'been slain' but, I left before the deeds screen ever came up and when I got back to the char selection screen, there was my pally where a ghost should've been. Lag? or Luck?

Try joining a game with him and seeing how much life you've got left, and more specifically if you can actually join a game.

Should've put this in the original post,sorry:I rejoined the game I was in after I checked the char selection screen, I had 13 life.

to further add to this days weirdness, my level 85 hammerdin still appears as alive or active on the ladder (name isn't in gray)...wth? Catch a break and get taunted by the Bnet gods? :lol: neat.

Your name isn't gray if you leave as you die. You may have noticed an 82 sorceress named Al-Jazeera at the top of the ladder in the beginning of the season... she was dead, though her name was still tan/beige/orange/gold whatever that color is. Same with ndll, the 94 assassin (who died botting) and the other top assassin at the time.

I tried to figure out why some were grey and some were tan once. Best I could figure is that the character was deleted after death... dunno.
