Has the bug when upping unique eth armours been fixed?

I was under the assumption that when you upgrade a unique eth armour using the cube recipe the armour will not get the ethereal bonus and it hadn`t been fixed on 1.11b. Have they?

The reason i ask is i just upped a eth duriels shell into great hauberg and i expected to get about 1500 defence max, instead i got this:

No matter how i calculate the supposed defence i cant seem to figure how it got that high (there is a def/Clvl of 1.25 on the armour but that totals to only about 123 more def at lvl99). So have they fixed the eth bug or is this some other bug or just a miscalculations on my part?

I would be happy if someone can explain this to me.

The bug was fixed (in a rather crude way TBH, which added another bug at the socketing recipes), so a 200% eth Great Hauberk Duriel's Shell now has between 1776 and 2253 defense, not including the per Clvl defense bonus.
