Has anyone ever Tried this?

While doing baal runs on my wolf i was extremely bored as usual so i picked up a bow for ****s and giggles and something occured to me. Has anyone ever made a PvP druid that used a faith bow? I have no idea what the damage would be like for fury but it would be cool to be able to shift out and have a ranged attack. Also this would make enigma a possibility for pvp since you could still do solid damage in human form. Dunno if this is viable and the idea of making a faith in a non zon bow for something that might suck doesnt seem worth it to me. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried this or at least an idea of what damage/speed would be in wolf form

In case people are just too lazy to read that block of text what im asking is can you make a Fury/Bow hybrid and be viable in pvp. I just checked ias tables and it seems that most bows will be too slow. But what about a botd hydra?

Kiba did that for fun on his F/R Druid and used a Widow on switch. He'd fight as a Druid, then unshift if they ran and harassed them with Widow until they came back. He had Nigma on for mobility. If was hilarious but I doubt efficient or viable. Faith or BotD won't work as you'll need GA to hit anything not on your screen.

im talking about using the bow as your main fury weapon as well and still having cta lidless on switch.

I doubt using a bow in PvP would work that well. Vs Melee's without a shield you're screwed. And I don't know what the range of a bow would be, but I doubt it would compare to an eTomb reaver or an ebotd gpa. Having an wep/shield and Harmony bow on switch for Vigor might help to desynch, but thats probably as useful as a bow is going to get in wolf form.

Erm, you won't use a bow for your main weap. It'll have a range of 1 in Wolf form which means even PB Smiters outrange you.

All bows, even WF swing really slow with the new patch. Buriza aint shabby but still not the best. The range is poor too. Even unshaped, a Faith will shoot pretty slow (compared to zons that is) and the damage won't be anything braggable without being able to amp the damage with guided arrow or spray 20 arrows with multishot :[
You'd basically teleport around missing ppl constantly... even if you hit them you'd take like 10 life off 'em lol. Eventually they'd just charge or tele near you and kill you in one strike most likely since you have no shield and poor DR and prolly poor resists too. I'm guessing any great paladin, wind druid, etc could prolly almost sit there a min as you shot at them and missed or got blocked 90% of the time... chuckle, then kill you, not to be a downer : /

Widowmaker's prolly the only good option, the main reason is it's guided arrow which CAN'T miss so dext isn't a factor. It's an easy way to take advantage of damage prox like open wounds, poison (prebuff venom), etc. but the damage is more to just peck at their life and press them into getting nervous and screwing up.
