Harry Potter OotP trailer available tomorrow

Some of you may have already seen the teaser if you watched Happy Feet, but it will be officially released online tomorrow.

I'm personally looking forward to this movie because I'm particularly interested to how Katie Leung will develop as her character Cho Chang. And I suspect that a lot of other people are just watching this movie to see daniel radcliffe kiss a girl.

But a picture of the kiss scene has already been officially released along with some other promotional pics as well:

*warning.. spoiliers for those who don't want to see the screens yet*

is it me or is daniel radcliffe's nose bent in that kiss? lol but i can understand since it's both dan's and katie's first kiss scene as actors and actresses.

Order of the Phoenix damn near ruined the whole series for me, it was terrible. I put off reading Half-Blood Prince for a year and a half (until it came out in paperback) because I was still so pissed.

Mind you, the movies are rubbish anyway so it can't really be that bad...

Oh, the Cho Chang thing sucked. On the other hand I never really liked her (it's hard to when she wasn't in the first four books at all and had zero character), and I was happy she was out of the way.

i never liked her character either but warner bros could not have left her out in the movies or else they'd receive like several thousand hate mails each day from hp fans.

Yeah. They're trapped by the material.

J.K. Rowling should be forced to go back and rewrite that book, it traumatised me.

Really? OotF is my second favourite after Azkaban.

Ohhhh, wait. Sirius fan, right? Yeah, my friend who is a girl dislikes it for the same reason.

Anyway, I'm not a woman so I'm really looking forward to the movie.

It wasn't just because Sirius died (although that was badly done in many ways), I could write an essay on everything that was wrong with it. But the quickest thing to do is just say that every word was torture.

While it was not my favorite HP book, its still something to look forward too in July. Or when it comes to DVD whichever I notice first, so Thank You.

I liked the Order of the Phoenix, it's a much better book than the Half Blood Prince. I still have to reread that one and I'm dreading it. It wasn't very pleasant.

On a sidenote it just occured to me that this will be the first HP movie I'll be watching on my own. All the other ones I watched together with my now ex bf. Even the Goblet of Fire. We had just split up and felt numb and to avoid having to talk or staring at another or the tv, we went to the cinema and watched the Goblet of Fire.....

The girl that plays Cho has been the death of many a kitten.

There is a lot of time between now and July. Who knows if you will be seeing it alone or not. On that note, July is too long for me to have to wait to see the movie.

Aww, thanks. I never thought of that, I just got a sad memory back. That just happens sometimes, I suppose.

I however have fond memories of reading The Order of the Phoenix.

OotP is probably one of the most realistic novels in terms of portraying the teenage boy, although JK had too much "filler" material that wasn't relevant to the plot although there probably is a purpose to it. Cho is necessary is the books because Harry is a teenage boy who has crushes that don't work etc. Dondrei I'm curious as to why you dislike OoTP

    You must be joking.

Ugh, I don't know if I want to start - I'd end up writing an essay ten pages long.

No can do. 10 page essays are the dominion of Babin. You haven't earned the right to vie for the defunt Octar "So I Say's to Mabel"

My wife has a love affair with the HP series...the trailer came on before Happy Feet...and she was busy keep our 2-year-old from kicking the chairs infront of us. She was pissed that she missed the whole 30 seconds of it.

You think that's bad, I'm working on a spreadsheet for books that I'm waiting to come out  . I've got 5 series that I'm waiting to finish, just off the top of my head. One of them the author has some disease with his proteins, and is dying. He's supposed to be working on the last book in the 12 book series, and he's said upon his death all his notes for that book will be burned...

But I agree, July is way too long, but on the bright side, apparently the last book in that series is going to come out in that month.
