I don't know what the people in XBananaX have been up to lately, my only interaction has been via the forums (speaking of which, any of the regulars who would be willing to keep an eye on an enigmadin for me let me know) but before I left there were only like 4 people in banana who had active chanters, and there is NO WAY wing, aaron, trebby or any of the others would have had their merc off you.
That being said, it is true that banana is an open community, and there have been people who came in, were welcomed because of our open door policy and then betrayed other regulars, it is an eventual consequence of being open and trusting. I'd feel safe assuring you that these people once discovered are weeded out immediately.
Banana always has been a haven for legit coop play, it was founded as a home for the reset team for the last ladder, and though most of us are gone now, i have faith in the new generation of Bananas to keep the ideals going and police their own channel.
In that vein however, if you are able to supply us with a screenie or proof of the accusation, we will take necessary action.

I never hostiled, I was low lvl and would never hostile a lvl 82... I agree with Tai, just stop *****ing about 1 tppk, wasn't even your character. (2 of my friends were there though :jig: )

I have reported your post to the moderators as a flame since there is absolutely nothing constructive in it at all. Hopefully they will come swiftly.
Turnips is actually a pretty well respected member of this forum, and of the banana channel and was only trying to find out who in the banana channel was apparently guilty of TPPK'ing so that that person could be dealt with (banned).
But since apparently asking for proof was taken as highly offensive by the accusing person I'd say it's fairly safe to say that there is no way anyone is going to be able to discover who it is or do anything about it. If this TPPK'er is lurking anonymously in the banana channel then this thread has accomplished nothing to weed them out, and the accusation might as well have not been brought up in the first place.

How many people get PK'd either legitimately or by TPPK and DON'T remember the char name/account. I'd say 50% of the time I get harassed mercilessly after I successfully PK someone through /w *XXX. Now if you're TPPK'd (ie. mostly not your fault) I strongly doubt you wouldn't remember the account. Making such an accusation about bananas is uncalled for without proof. Rather than spouting heresay about banana, why not just offer new users an option. OMG I'm a nice person; I just can't deal with...this kinda stuff.
not only should the poster of these accusations be banned from the forums for having unsubstantiated accusations of others, but probably should be kicked in the nuts for taking offense when someone asked him for proof so it could be dealt with.

First of all, If I really needed to, I could simply photoshop the image, but that wouldn't be very honoest. Secondly, your totally ruining this thread and you really have no business posting in it. Thirdly, an open channel like xbananax and you find it fine that everyone who joins it is a honest to god good-hearted player? It's an open channel, and If some sorc joins it and says shes with xbananax, then fine, w/e. Nothing you can do about it, last 5 or so posts should be deleted, they make no sense at all.

op xbananax has an open community, and so many of the people in that channel tpk... It's good too, but this is smaller and more friendly, there isn't a better or worse one, depends on preference. I hang out in their channel too sometimes, you don't need to bash...
You began the topic of tppkers in banana.
Sure you could photoshop them. But if you put up a screenie of "Spade TPPKS ArchsageVal" then I would tell you to stick it up your arse. But if you put up a screen of "Unknown TPPKS ArchsageVal" and you say this person came from the channel. Then I (as well as all the other banana regulars) would keep an honest open eye out for this unknown person and check to see if they are infact suspicious. If they proved to be suspcious, we would ban them from the channel.
You say "open channel." It may be an open channel however the people from this forum control that channel and can restrict access if necessary. How are we to know who should be restricted unless people speak up.
If you read the forums you'll find a post of mine a couple months back regarding the access of an individual in banana who i thought to have malicious intents and suggested action be taken against that individual. I don't know what happened if any, but I know of a number of people who wouldn't play with that person and I have seen this person in the channel but once since then.
This is a forum where you are free to express your opinions, but opinions are like assholes....need i finish the rest? If you want action to be taken, back up your statements and instead of being flamed or ridiculed, people might thank you for helping them avoid trouble.
You say I have no business posting in this thread. You put out an open accusation that the people in a certain channel participate in TPPK. I am a member of this channel, therefore you have accused me of potentially being a TPPK. I have every right to write a rebutal for you as I have never and will never TPPK and like most people in this thread take offense to your unsubstantiated allegations. Provide proof, we'll look at the proof, decide if it is in fact proof at all, and then thank you for your help, or send you on your way. Either way it's better then just pointing a finger. I hope you understand this.

Yea, good post, I personally don't care, considering it was a lvl 23 amazon with a few OK items, and that is why I had no intention of reporting and going out of my way. I hardly mentioned it, it's just a known thing among a lot of b.neters. If you people really want to go on about this dumb thing, then email me or something, I most likely will respond with a small "No." :flowers:
