Hammerdin Good Build Untwinked/Pure?

Is a hammerdin good at all untwinked? That is the basic question from which this topic spawned. I have heard much about hammerdins of course, being that they are so popular and powerful, and have learned many things about them even though I have never made one before. I hear that they are really gear specific and they need to be set up perfect in order to be effective, with high level rune words and extremely rare perfect gear..exct. So, SP only, solo, no muling/trading, completly untwinked and pure, is a hammerdin going to be able to beat hell? ( Rune Word Mod enabled ) ( I would mule items if that is the only bottleneck to making this paladin effective. )

They can be great untwinked, aiming hammers will take a little getting used to without being able to telestomp onto a monster, but a spirit sword/shield, lore/peasent crown helm, viper magi armor, +skill ammy and you are set to rip through hell mode.

Equip above is great. Hammerdins are great chars at any lvl with any budget gear. It's just they can be UNSTOPPABLE with the best gear. However, theyre pretty much unstoppable without eni lol, just they can't tele.

Aiming hammers is VERY simple I have no idea why people make it seem so difficult. Simply stand directly underneath, but as close to, the moster you are kiling. This will ensure every hammer you cast hits THAT monster. If theres a bunch of them, the spiralling un-aimed hammers will take care of them. Attack every monster like this 'till they're all dead. Easy. Using shift+hammers on left i find is the easiest way to do this 9conc should be on right skill).
