is there anything that you can do after you have been hacked?

Is it possible to contact blizzard and get them to freeze someones cd key or is that asking too much?

As you can probably guess i have just been hacked due to my own stupidity of course however i am more worried about someone else being hacked in the same manner.

Please let me know if there is an avenue that i can go down to find out about this matter.

you weren't hacked as such. you were tricked.
As much as you'd like to get them banned i dont think blizz get rid of morons else there would be 95% less on bnet.

Hi,
If you have registered you accnt with Blizz. then you could reset the password in account settings.
If you did not resister, i don't think you can do anything about that. There's no way they know who's hacking who. And people give, sell/exchange/share account/password all the time
Besides, Blizz already warn us not to disclose any password/ not to use any 3rd party program to anybody including them.
Or you may try to hack your account back?

Thanks for the advice lads. I guess that I am just a little bitter over the whole thing. I am going to just forget about it now. I had registered the account so I have it back now and although he did get all the best stuff that i had at least i have the character to try an play with.

I would like to take this opportunity to advise people to always /help on a command before you type it as he got me to type /dnd and my username and password to find out wahat rank my character was. All lies but cest la vie. I am not sure if I am allowed or even supposed to put his name up for ppl to be aware of in future but in the interest of keeping access to the forums i will desist until i get confirmation that i can.

It was a silly thing to do but we learn from our mistakes i suppose and I will never do that again

since u don;t pay a monthlu fee for online play blizzard won;t raise a finger to help you. However, if there is a serious problem that affects a lot of people and endangers them from other people reccomending d2 to others, then they will do something about it, otherwise sorry mate.
