Guess it's about time for an intro...
Hello, everybody! I've been lurking for a few months and posting for the last month or so. I guess I've been putting off an intro thread. Feels like too much of a commitment. =)
Anyways, I'm 18 and wrapping up my first year at an East Coast Mid-Atlantic university. (Hint: Cheesesteaks and meeting houses.) I like reading and hanging out with friends. Favorite books include anything by Douglas Adams and the DaVinci Code. Currently thinking about working through the Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin. Oh, and my favorite color is blue. Cerulean, if you must know.
Been playing DIIX for the past year or so since I got the Battlechest. Gave up on Bnet cause I didn't play consistently enough on ladder to keep my chars alive. That's the good thing about SP, neh?
First character was a Wind Druid, which are painful before lvl 24 untwinked. I can't remember how many times I died to Norm Duriel trying to kill him with a rare jav and a 1-point Arctic Blast. Yeah, it was just that bad. The Druid's lvl 84 now, struggling through Baal's minions even though the gear's quite respectable. Two Amazons, a lvl 81 LF Zon and a lvl 76 Freezing Strafer, both in Act II Hell. Also have a lvl 20-something Paladin (Frostadin in the works) and a lvl 20-something Fishymancer that I think I've given up on. (Maggot lair is so freakin' painful.)
Btw, just gotta say, it's a great community here. No offense, but the class-specific forums just feel...well, like Bnet.
