Guardian 24: Yupanuthuh

Yupanuthuh the FB/Orb sorc got bored with Meph/LK runs, and decided to get around to killing off Baal. This is my first guardian since restarting a couple of months ago... not my first FB/Orb guardian, but a great character to restart with, and while she's done a ton of MF runs, all of her gear is self-found/created.

Not much exciting about the last leg of her journey. The Ancients weren't too bad... only one FI+CI, so they went down after a few minutes of teleporting around the mountaintop. The WSK also wasn't too horrific, though the Throne was a mess: mummies, gloams, and OK's... once we got past that, the minions and Baal went down without too much trouble. Baal dropped junk as usual, including not one but TWO Milabrega's crowns... I mean, if you're going to do something that unusual, how about making it useful? :crazyeyes:

Skills: the usual, maxed Orb/FB, nearly maxed Cold and Fire masteries, 1 point in the usual prereqs and utility skills.

GJ. It's one of my fav sorc builds along with pure cold and pure light. Really fun to play and be able to take on pretty much anything the game throws at you.

Any future plans for her? Planning on Tal set or keeping the gear?

I mean ok, you got a Guardian. Another. With nifty stuff. All the ready. With a too-well-known build. So?

Hey, here is a challenge: you must be self-found, but any equipment you wear must be bought from the shops, no gamble! OR use your mouse only lefthanded! Or something!

twillight, I'm sorry if forum etiquette has changed in the couple of years that I've been away... but back when I was a regular here, it was a fairly regular occurrence for someone to post a Guardian thread, and not something worthy of criticism. In this case, I thought it was worthy of posting because it was (1) untwinked, (2) my first Guardian after restarting the game, and (3) because I thought it'd be fun to let old friends here know I was back in the saddle. If you don't like it, move on.

@ Hector: she's my main MF character now. I have a few more niche builds I still want to try that won't work without reasonable gear, so her job is running Meph, Baal and Pindle for the foreseeable future.
