Grrr! V/T vs Foh help

Okay, gettin a wee bit pissed.

I usually eat fohers. eat em up yum yum. Just charge and they die; can't smite cause they foh then run. So I charge. So I fought one who says he has 200FHR and does a massive amnt of Foh dmg. I have 85 res and 40 sorb and he kills me in 5 of them.

Why am I so angry? Because even though I charged him it never hurt him. He claimed he was blocking (75) but he wouldn't be able to FoH if he was in a blocking animation.

Advice? o_O

I usually never had any problems with any smiters/chargers, so seeing as how ur only half a charger I can see how u would have problem hitting him.

Remember, Holy shield increases faster block to 2 frames, so it would be hard to see him block since its 1/12th of a second. Plus he can have a high defense, and vs your rather low AR (since ur not a full fledged charger) so it's hard to hit him.

I would say charge him till u get close then switch to smite. That's your best bet.

But pure foh isn't the thing for v/t. Try angelics on while you charge against him and for the love of god, overstack light resists, his conviction and facets mean that unless you don't get light res you have problem. Grab a paladin shield with +3x - 4x resists and put 4xperfect topazes. This should help alot.

when u say u have 40% abs i assume u are using 2x whisp and prolly a tg.

Ditch the wisps for standard ar giving rings, i.e either 2x ravens nd highlords for good ds on ur charge dmg or angelic combo. Also as Kindryland rightly said ge a nice 4 sock pala shield with say 30-40 all res socketed with 4x perfect topazs this way foh will not hurt u too much.

If u can stack him well u can then compete in a foh vs foh fight and simply then switch and charge him 2 death to finish him or something.

45 Base + 4 Ptopaz Shield with Tgods, Wisp, and a 4 Ort armor should make it very easy. Keep charging and don't stop.
