Griswalds Heart- Armor

G'day All.

I traded 9 pgs for Griswald's Heart and was bemused when I socketed it with a P diamond and nothing happened!!!!!
I only play Ladder cause I think playing Legit is more rewarding.
Does anyone know why this happened?
I didn't think hacked items could be used in Ladder games, when i wore the armor my stats changed, but no extra resistance from the Pgs?
Should I only trust the gear I pick up?

Griswolds Heart is an armor, not a shield. Diamonds in armors give + attack rating, not resists.

yes, any diamonds only give extra resistance to shields, unless u socket it with something like a um rune, ur gris armor wont gain any resistances.

if i were u i would just socket it with 3 p rubies.. that gives u a lot of life..

or if u want resists and cant afford 3 um runes, socket it with 3 resist runes of ur choice

ok nothing happened, i didn't get attrating from it either. What i'm saying is when i socketed it it didn't add the extra gem properties to the item!

Exit battlenet, restart your computer then look at it.

Could just be a bug.

I read of it happening to someone where they socketed an item with a gem, but the gem vanished and it didnt appear on the item.

they exited battlenet logged on and still not on item.

The next day they logged onto battlenet after a computer reset the item was socketed.

Worth a shot.

the change would have been slight in this case, justanothr line inthe armor's abilities. Look carefully and you might see it there. If not, jsut look again tomorrow, bugs happen atthe oddest times.

Are you sure the gem is in the armor? Can you really see it stuck in there?

just unsocket it and try again.. might be a rare bug..

its not like u put a jah rune in it or something.. its just a p diamond
