Griffons Eye vs Shako for LF/Strafe Zon

I can't decide which one, I like the power of Griffon's but the safety of Shako is also nice.

I guess it depends. Do you want to kill faster or be slightly more secure? If you have a near perfect Griffon's and facet to go along with it, I'd say the advantages gained in power would more than override whatever life MF bonus you would get from a Shako. However, Griffon's does nothing for your Strafing.

The best thing to do is to try them both out for a while and see which suits your play style the best.

I just found my first shako in SP today, and I can confidently say, I'd rather have a Griff's. (Though I'm jazzed about getting a shako still! )

A shako offers 10%DR, that's all safety worth mentioning and it's not much IMO. BTW, its +life/mana isn't boosted by BO. For a zon, I would prefer a Valkyrie Wing or Andariel's Visage to a shako, but Griffon's is better, of course.

Amazon safety doesn't come from 10% DR and 140 life but from positioning and decoy placement (if necessary at all). Situations where 10% DR and 140 life would help you are situations you should never get yourself into, and even then it would help you in 1% of such situations. You would have to dedicate a lot more to safety than hat in order to be really safe when playing reckless.

2 skills doesn't help your bow skills that much, but Griffon's can amp your dmg by LOTS. Add in the fact that this char is mostly played like LF zon until you encounter light immunes so it helps you with your dps more than you might imagine.

I don't think there is even need to doubt in this choice tbh...
