Grief, Phase Blade or Berserker Axe?

Hi, I recently created a smiter, and I want to make the Grief runeword. Should I use a Phase Blade or a Berserker Axe?

I found a Superior Phase Blade (8 ed) that I maybe can use for Grief. Is there a way to make sure it will become 5 sox when/if I sox it?

PB, looks MUCH better and the main source of damage is the +400, not the base weapon damage. Faster is better... and looks are never wrong.

PB has higher base speed, making it much more likely that you won't need anymore IAS to reach your max speed. plus it's indestructable, whereas BA can have huge repair costs. plus it looks way cooler.

unfortunately, you can't cube socket a superior item....and larzuk will give it 6soc unless you found it in normal...?

PB rocks on grief with fanta on at level 20 you don't need any extra ias to reach top speed plus if you have the dex for a PB and use a Hoz and use Holy Shield then you should have max block up until level 87 at least i think its 87 so that's handy also

PB for pvm, BA for pvp.

what he said, if you are doing pvp you will want the longer range that the zerk has, especially when dueling ww barbs.

wouldn't a scourge be better, since it has the same range but is faster, and since the base wep damage isn't multiplied it doesn't really matter?
