    Grief-Hunger, viable in PvP?

Hunger with 40ias Grief PB would swing (or bite :p) at 6 frames, which is actually pretty desc in my book. How would this fair in PvP, for like Bear v Casters? 'Cause due to the nature of grief, this would save a lot of points for prolly the best tanking shaper....EVER MAUHAHHAHA. I would try now, but I'd rather not stop the build I've started... but something to try, maybe

    u'd only need like,
    20 Lyc
    20 Hunger
    20 Oak
    so...
    ~40 in Cyclone synergies? (yikes)

    Potential, methinks?

you could allways use maul to. and bears needs the How spirit for ar.

so the skills would go like this:

    20 Lyc
    20 Werebear
    20 Maul
    20 Hunger
    20 How

Grief adds huge physical damage, but the thing is Hunger has -75% to physical damage, so kinda defeats the point of using Grief. Hunger is good with a fast attack +elemental damage +CB.

yeah but cb doesnt work well in pvp. and with grief he will have a decent 2 k avg damage anyway.

Some ppl swear by 'Grief' on a bear, IMO its far too slow, you'll just get fhr/block locked swinging so slow. Hunger is used more to trigger OW's then actually cause any damage.

Maulers struggle at pvp in the first place, so I don't see a slower, less damage hunger attack helping the cause.

But if it works for you, congrats.

    Azurwrath
    200-500 cold
    200-500 magic
    5-10 stats
    +1 skills

I use this on my hunger wolf and it works great! Ber it for the extra 20% cb.

My butt it doesn't. Recently built a L60 Wolf who uses Fury + 125% CB. He is pretty damn handy for his level.

CB is normally used by lower levels to beat higher levels. IMO CB is excellent in PvP.

Also, I agree with Azure Wrath. Mass Elemental and MAgical Damage make it a prime Hunger weapon.

    1. Hunger is not a good ideal in pvp. It is only effective for pvm builds.

    2. Crushing blow is mostly effective for lowering really high hitpoint classes shape shifting druids, and bvc wirl barbs.

    3. Hey Mali if you can tell me where that word your using as a acct name I will give you 10 points.

Yup... and lowering 'em REALLY quickly! Not like stacking CB is anything particularly new - it was very common back in ... 1.09 I think.

I am not sure of the actual question...
If you're speaking of my account name here - then it has several origins:
    * A West African nation
    * I believe it means 'gardener' in Hindi
    * In my case, it is short for 'malicious', which was a name I ran by in other games predating this (malicious being too long, and the shortened form became what I wear now)...
If you're speaking about my ingame account name (WarHound), that comes from my toon in CoH/V (War Dog - which was taken here), and that came from Shakespeare.
If you're speaking about another acct name, I have no idea!
    Do I get 10 pts?

    m

You get 10 points for knowing that name from different places.

    Now check this one out.

I have the same name on my acct on uswest.

But I got it because the name Mali is a desendent from Moses from the bible.

Meh - I USED to have it (on USEast - 'bout 4 years ago methinks), but I quit, and when I came back, it was gone! So, now... I am WarHound!
