Great Gambler's Giveaway Results/Goodbye
Hello all,
The Great Gambler's Giveaway has come to an end. Thanks to everyone who participated in the event. For those who don't know about it I'll post a little synopsis: I wanted to giveaway my items but I didn't want to drag it out too long e-mailing everybody (I'm not sure I accomplished that :lol: ) and also there has been some concern about disrupting the trade thread with giveaways and I was trying to avoid that. Basically everyone who wanted to just signed up to play a few games of dice and cards. Winners moved on to subsequent rounds while others were removed from the game. The last person to win would get all of my items (about 1300 or so). I decided to award the top three finshers with something after realizing how lucky they were to make it this far.
The Goodbye Part: I haven't been around that long but I had a good time with a number of people, and enjoyed the HCL quite a bit. I have had urges to re-install the game but everytime I try to I just can't. It just doesn't appeal to me like it use to. I have mentioned before that I was planning on attending medical school in the Fall and those plans solidified with an acceptance last week. From now until August there are a lot of RL decisions to make with my wife, and D2 is not in the picture.
Thanks to all SPFers old and new, it has been a really good experince. I'll stop by from time to time, but not nearly as much as I use to. Good luck with your builds and deepening the community.
