3 Pgems + GC = reroll the Grandcharm again (new stats). In other words, it's as though the charm was dropped again, and identified.

3x PGems + 1x Grand Charm.

Most ppl want skiller mods , if thats what you are after, then any GC from NM flayer jungle onwards. Approx chance 1/19 re-rolls.

Other popular choice to get high suffix mods is to re-roll Hell Baal GC's for the high life or mana suffix. Approx chance 1/21 re-rolls. ( slightly lower to get the plus skills mod, but you can get better suffixes.

Personally I find that my re-roll results are about 1/23 so I must be slightly unlucky :)

EDIT :: Looks like Orphan beat me too it :)

That's an easy one - any 'blue', that is magical, item can have it's mods re-spawned in random fashion by tossing it in your horadric cube along with three perfect gems and pressing the transmute button. If you wish your Grand Charm to spawn a + to skills mod, you'll need to use a charm with a high item level - I believe the Grand Charms found in the Great Marsh (Act 3) in Nightmare are of sufficient level to possibly spawn skills. The highest level Grand Charms, those dropped personally by Diablo and Baal in Hell, have the ability to spawn the very best mods, the most prized being + to skill and + to life (one prefix, one suffix).

Even with a high level charm, re-rolling a charm into a 'skiller' is an uncommon event: I'm told the average number of re-rolls is 22, and can run much higher than that.

Elgar, who posts on this forum, is an avid charm-roller. He can help you out more than I am able to.

wouldnt say avid, but seeing as im not a pgem trader, i use almost all the pgems to reroll gc's as im trying to get at least one of each skiller by the end of ladder.

that said, the recipe is as above 3 Pgems+ magic item= new magic item of same class and Ilvl. So basically all you have to do is find an item from a monster with high enough level (for gc skillers that is 50) and continue rerolling it until you get the mods you want. The odds are pretty low. ive been on a cold streak recently, ive found 3-4 skillers since the last time ive rolled one.
