Bigrob's guide is more based on the BvB side of things. Also the stats are a tad incorrect.the boss said:http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=363940
This is the tuner barb, but I don't see how they can get max block setup with a bvc default changing into bvb status...is it viable?
As for BvAs, they are viable, but they just require some extreme wealth to outperform a BvC in a public game. I personally think that a BvA is a low def BvB and a low life BvC, thus pretty useless. However some people just got a thing on beating BvBs.
Also, on BvAs, I would have to say that Leap takes priority over Iron Skin. Leap needs to be at least lvl 19 with your BvC setup, then the rest can go into Shout/Iron Skin.
I think Dyn's guide is pretty much based on a BvA point of a view. Remember to check where he recommends a shield. I think it's like 2 match-ups only.
Actually, I'd say 63 with perfect gear, due to 63+40+15=118, 118+20=138=enough for Grief/Hel SS.Note: this tuner build would actually require you to put alot more strength than what Ce Olba said about 65 strength base...you'd need 100 or so, for it to equip all items and still have decent one hand damage and max block.
Or then you could go with Eld SS and go with 81 base str.
And this takes into account only str from Arreats, Draculs and torch+anni. Of course the +stats are perfect. If you want to go with a Guillaume's Face, you will need to add another 5 str or put a Fal or a ed/str jewel in it.
As for maximum blocking, you will need 118 base dex with a Eld Stormshield and Arreats, using dual Angelics, or 133 with another socket in Stormshield.
