Good Poker

If you are in the US they are becoming fewer and fewer. The two main sites that still accept US players are Stars and Full Tilt. Both offer good play chip variations and tournaments if that is your thing, and both also of course offer real money play.

within a year it will be illegal for any site to accept wagers from U.S. residents.
Not that this could be enforced on us players, but if the CEO of stars were to set foot in the US he could be arrested on the spot.

It will also become more difficult to make transactions with these sites, because the new port security bill is also forcing banks to stop transferring money to poker sites.

Now that big brother Republican has told me how I can't spend my time and money (apparently, gambling is unChristian and therefore should be illegal), I'm glad they're all getting kicked out of office.

To answer the question Virgin Poker has a nice layout and some good freerolls.

You know, I would have thought that at least if you are gambling online, you aren't driving to Vegas and getting married to the first person you meet while drunk in a gaudy ceremony conducted by an Elvis impersonator. Yes I am a cynic.

Shouldn't Republicans be happy so long as someone's making money? Bring back Original Recipe Republicans...

I play at stars myself, I have tried some of the others but none really compare to the selection and quality of pokerstars

I play poker with real people in smoky old barns with the blues playing, wood stove cooking, beer & rum flowing, etc. Online poker is for chumps.

I always like PartyPoker.... but maybe because I always won there.

People have mentioned the Port Bill, and I don't know the details, but since that bill passed, I haven't played at all online.

Stupid bill

Port bill schplort bill. There is no better way than to play poker in small, dark and smoky rooms. The way it is meant to be played. It also helps if almost everybody is smoking pot.
