Good places for a Bowzon?

Was wondering which places are good to run with a bowzon, I use to run chaos, but my merc dies a lot, and I'm kinda tired of it. So any other ideas?
Thanks.

the pits are very popular for their socketables, and having the highest area level, meaning that pretty much everything can drop there

some people swear by running kurast for runes, and from my point of view it is probably my favorite area as it is crowded with monsters and very different compare to the other areas so you get some visual change in your runs.

chaos sanctuary is probably one of the best places to run for bowazons, but i can understand why you get tired of your merc dieing.

For more detailed info on all the places it would help to know your playstyle, skill allocation and gear, and what you want from the run. Uniques? socketables? gems? runes? exp?

Well, I got a Faith GMB, fort, highlord, loH, Wartravs, Noscoil.
It's a puredex bowazon.
I try to find Socketables , and maybe some good stuff that may appear.

The pits seem difficult because of the undead, so I'll try Travincal by now.:)

My 2 cents:

1. Pits are super easy as you have FaithGMB (I am using Faith MB). The monster life there is just low. You will OWN them for sure.
2. I found it is not bad for chaosing. You will need to use Multishoot (7 frames preferred) instead of strafe most of the time. When I shoot 7 frame multi, most of time, OK just can't curse me or my merc (act2 might with insight) as they are under FHR mode. When you hit them hard and fast, they just can't do anything :)
3. Here are my runs: Act5 (Eldrich and Shenk)-->Act4 Chaos--> Act3 Trav-->Act1 The Pits.
4. I found new spots for multishoots -- Act3 Flayer's Jungle, Great Marsh and Spider Forest. Those small baddies are bad for lots of chars. However they are super easy for multizon. Lots of monsters to kill.

BTW, what are your full gears? Which BP are you at now? You will need 95IAS or more (depending on fana level) to hit the last bp (multi and strafe).

You can always go for a faith merc and using an other bow your self. Act 1 mercs don't die often, and IM isn't a problem.

If you don't want that, try running wsk. If you can run chaos, then wsk may be possible aswell and wsk is the best place to go. The best items can drop there and probably with the highest chance. And don't forget that you get baal as end boss.

You could always run the other alvl 85 area's, though if you get chaos under your belt, the other area's are a bit low.

P.S. pits isn't a problem with faith, and travincal isn't that good a place to go. Certainly not for socketable IIRC. For socketables, you want to run alvl 85 if you can.

Chien: Sadly my faith rolled as low as 12 fan :(. So only 8fps multi-
Nase: I tried WsK twice but thoso damn souls.....

So I guess I'll try the pits, and Trav for a changue. Thanks guys.

I like Act2 Insight Merc (might) more as he provides me almost unlimited mana for uninterrupted Multi :) I tried wsk. Be prepare to have some good resist (especially light, black souls hurt) there and way to deal physical immune. Hell Temptress give me lots of trouble as they are physical immune. Switch to harmony or something might work. They shoot those deadly red stars so fast. If you don't kill them fast, you are in trouble (in FHR lock or F/A/E lock).

12 fana.. you'll need like 100 IAS to make 7 frame multi. It is still doable but it will be less flexible for your gears.
Mav helm with IAS/tri-IAS helm => 45 IAS
LoH/rare glove => 20 IAS
cat's eye/highlords => 20 IAS
Quad-IAS armor/Treachery amror ==>45IAS.

Mix and match them will give you 100 IAS. (example: LoH(20)/cat's eye(20)/Treachery (45) and andy helm (20))

Hey, Chien I followed your advice put and insight on my merc and did pit runs. Is suuuper easy, and I do it superfast. so far my findings in 3 runs:
Trap Gc
Stormshield
nice rar jewel

And she has only 100mf, and its better than my 500%mf sorc.

Haha, very nice :) Congrats your finding. The monster life in pits is low. So, multi is faster than strafe in more open area. With single tougher monster or narrow place, strafe is useful, though. Use both of them depending of the situation. I find lvl15 multi is enough since my insight only lvl14 :( LOL... If I have lvl17, I might put more in multi.

Pit is indeed wonderful. I've made it my primary run for the last couple weeks and it's been filling my mules with lots of nice socketables and a few very nice uniques.
