Good killing equipment...

Okay, my current sorc is so weak that i'm angry at her... She dies all the time at nm meph (partly cuz i don't know how to get him stuck...) and I can't even consider going into hell.

She's level 70

Blizzard sorc ... yuh.

I'm going to make a meteorb now (real original, huh?) and this time, MF is secondary. First i have to live, then i have to kill, THEN i can think about MFing.

So what equipment should i get? I've heard the tals armor, tals ammy and occy, shako, ravenfrost, manald heal, maybe tals belt, dunno what boots, magefists would be a good combo, but i don't know.

Seriously. I need good resists in hell, good killing power, a lot of life, a lot of mana. What should i get? (keep in mind i'm kinda poor ... but i do have an ist)

I will be wanting to MF in the future with this sorc, but I won't need over 300%. main idea is to live through hell while killing stuff....

Tals set is perfect for not so rich people, and maybe even for rich ppl to so go for it I'd say! Btw what's your current sorc wearing (how much life, res and dmg does she has)? Because on nm meph usually dies in a few seconds with static and blizz so he doesn't even have time to hurt you. Also, if you're really poor (like me on lad ) try to shop a belt with 9x life, really helps. Also wizzy is a ridiculous cheap thing to get 75 all res from.

I am having the same problem, except for the fact that my setup is as follows:

shako
skullders
occy (isted)
Viscertaunt shield
tals ammy
2x soj
magefist/chancies
tals/goldwrap
war travs.

I'm a fireball/orb sorc though.

Wizardspike has 75 res all? How cold I have overlooked that?

I actually do have a wizspike. i'll have to try using that. Also someone told me that a "Ward" shield with a p diamond in it is the best res. shield you can get ... for cheap.

then again, if i use those, i don't have any + skills stuff

my sorc only has 400 life. that's why i'm making a new one. I shcrewed this one up. heh.

I'd be more compelled to do a moesser's blessed circle round shield with two pdiamonds. It's lighter, and with 2pdiamonds and its +25 to all res I think you can get up to +68% iirc-- I don't remember the base stats on the ward for resistances.
