Good hell mf spot 4 necro?

:azn: Hey guys ive been looking for good spots to mf with my summon necro. I am in hell mode lv 84 and i wear full trang ouls. I have only been mfin the pit because i read on this website that it can drop any item in the game. On the 1st day i found a skiller and titans and a sc with 100 psn dmg over 5 seconds. But i cant get to bosses real fast, and it kinda of a waste to mf bosses like andy bec it takes me so long any suggestions? Note im in HC so make sure its a place thats not 2 hard

The pit is a great spot for a summoner.

Then there's:

* Act 1 - Mausoleum (Undead; ONLY Lightning Immunes; ~4 Boss Packs)
* Act 2 - Ancient Tunnels (Undead; NO Cold Immunes; ~6 Boss Packs)
* Act 3 - Sewers Level 2
* Act 3 - Forgotten Temple (Upper Kurast)
* Act 3 - Ruined Fane (Kurast Causeway)
* Act 3 - Disused Reliquary (Kurast Causeway)

My mfing necro runs Pindle first - free summons when ya walk in
then proceeds to do Eldritch and Shenk
and finally completes it all by running Baal

Id also run some Pits , Andy , or Travinical to switch things up

He was my main Baal Mfer in the previous ladder and I found almost every elite unique in the game and most set items as well . The only bad part is a typical run like this takes 15 - 20 minutes so they are not too fast . But with around 400 % mf the drops are usually good .

You should be able to run CS

Could do Countess although he drops arent awesome except the rune chance.

You can do Eldritch and Shenk and Pindle pretty easy and Pindle even supplies the skellys for you!

Meph and Andy are doable, takes time getting there but doable.

I find keeping things fresh IMO is the best way to MF...if a certain run is giving you crap try some other places. i never focus on one place or boss, I always make a new game and go to 3-4+ places in each game. Always on a Sorc I hit Andy/Pindle/Meph, on a Warrior I will hit a bunch of places and just massacre them all, on a Necro I will hit nearly all the 84 areas.


BTW, dont let the Baal run being long keep you from doing it. You have good drop chances all the way to him also and excellent exp into the 90-92 range even solo in there IIRC. Cant even begin to tell you all the great stuff I have gotten "on my way to XXXX" in this damn game. In S2 1.10 I got like 12 Shakos.... it was like 3 from Andy and 1 from Meph and the rest "on my way to them" or other places "on my way". There is a corner room usually full of champs on the way to Andy that gave me a couple of them....think there is a boss in there also.

Hell a great deal of my best finds are from just random massacre and popin chests!

Dont forget Act 3 Hell either.....those big masses of screaming midgets like to die in bulk to Necros!!! Sure, there may be no "big bad droppin boss" there, but the best things in this game arent just from bosses!!!

OK i have 286 mf with alibaba,milbreas shield,wealth,3os topazed helm,mf rings and charms. What i do is i usually run to pits will full trang ouls and the switch out to the mf gear once i am in the pits. Ok you guys are talking baout doing act 3, dont the little midgets blow up in your face and monster shoot stuff at you?
Also i think baal run is kinda risky for me. My resistance with trangs right now is 959,53,39 and 75. Do you guys run with mf gear when running in act 3? Or do you guys run with good gear and then switch out when u get to the spot?
Oh one more thing who is eldritch, is that the necro? anyways i dont have the pindle portal, thank you guys for the feed back.

I tend to socket my gear with Perfect Topaz and load my merc up as well cause he'll get the last kill a lot of the time . Act 3 flayer jungle in hell spawns lots of flayers and sometimes they drop well . Travinical is also a good spot to Magic find in act 3 .. I dont do Meph much with a summoner as it takes too long to get to him .

I hate switching out gear so I run with one set up all the time . A summoner can get away with less than max resists if you utilise your minions and curses . Have you put one point in Dim Vision yet ? That curse can save you a lot of time against Gloams and anything else you want to blind .

Eldritch is the Boss just North of Shenk in act 5 ....

OK so i just gotta keep going north to fight eldritch then, thnx. Right now i have no pts into dim vision, but ill put 1 there. ya its kinda dangerous running with mf gear on tohugh, thnx for the replies.

you won't even have to go very far to find him. He is just above the wp slightly to the right. Very easy to kill, very nice drops sometimes. I have found some rainbow facets, exceptional uniques and such in plenty and you don't have to kill anyone else to get to him.

Ya i got to him, i also walked all the way to anya, so now that i have pindle what is the way im supposed to run him with necro, i only have runned with blizz sorc. I also want to key hunt, but i know that if i get the wp after pinlde the portal closes, but i want to know if the same things happens if i kill that necro for the key.

I always run max resists and whatever MF I can add, now I might have a weapon swap for MF and swap as I see fit. MF is over rated by most, having 100-150 and max rez is just fine and not hard to do and you can live a longer life. Leave the low resist high MF running to a sorc MF build. Hell even then my sorcs have max rez.
