Glitched Andy Vs Mephisto.

Maybe its just me, but I'm finding doing Hell Andariel pretty profitable (if not more) than Hell Mephisto. I've been finding some really useful rare rings, and an assortment of useful charms from Andariel.

Is this because, when I kill Andariel, I normally take out her minions as well. Whereas, when I do Mephisto, I often skip the councils and other critters as its lets congested.

Maybe I just been lucky with charms from andariel.

It's hard to say generally, but it's really a question of items per unit time and what you are looking for. On the realms, finding Meph is more dangerous and more time-consuming than finding Andarial. And Andarial is generally a good source of jewelry, so if you are interested in jewelry she is a good bet. The Andarial quest drop bug means that you don't need to load up on MF for her as much as you do for Meph, which means you can generally go faster, as well. For charms, I've had good luck running cows but everyone has different preferences there.

I will comment a bit on SP. Generally, Meph is a bit faster to run than Andie with your standard blizzie (because of last act3 wp is nearer to meph than last act1 wp is to andy). On Bnet the run time difference is larger in my experience. Meph can also drop a lot of stuff andariel can't. Question is, how many of the stuff meph can drop and andy can't is actually useful. After some point in my D2 career, I find I run Meph or Andy mostly for jewelery (rings, ammys, RBFs), certain ethereal Polearms / Spears (Hone Sundan, Bonehew, Reaper's Toll), Ormus Robes, [feel free to add nice stuff here].

Maybe we can come up with a list of nice items and make a table of drop odds for quest bugged Andy and Meph at 300 and 500 MF :).
