Gimmershard and windforce

How does this work I tried using gimmershard throwing axes on my hunter and they did about 300 damage more then my wind foce. When I left town heart of the wolverine and my mercs might aura came on and gimmershards damage only went up to 3k and windforces went to 3.7k. Shouldn't gimmershards damage still be higher then windforce's? How come it isn't?

gimmersherds have less physical damage than windforce so it isn't multiplied as much by might and HoW as is the pure physical damage of windforce.
i use gimmershreds on my hunter along with tiamats for PI's are high physical resistant baddies :xcool:

Thanks but i can't believe I didn't see that and gimmershard would be awsome on wepon switch just to deal with those stupid PIs

Personally I prefer using my etheral lacerator on the switch. The amp gets cast fairly often and this not only speeds up my killing but also my bears and my mercs. With my HoW and might merc I do 325-2400 damage which is great with the amp.

I love my hunter the bow really helps out my summons, with merc and HOW it does 3.8k now but then i do nothing to PIs so i have to switch to gimmershard, it does about 3k mostly elemental dmg. I wish i knew about the huntermentalist my hunter was lvl 80 before i heard about it. (how many sojs are nigmas worth?)
