Getting pwned in Hell - I need a hug
Hi Folks,
Well I've just self rushed up my first Hammerdin ever and he is awesome....or at least WAS awesome until I got to Hell.
I just need some reassurance from y'all that he won't always be such a wuss. I'm currently level 76 (thanks to NM baal runs) and have almost all the Hammer skills maxed (just need the last few Vigor).
Admittedly my gear is kinda crappy. Wearing Spirit Shroud (1 skill), Lore Helm (1 more skill), Wizspike, sigons shield (crappy but 1 skill), IK Boots and Gloves, Manald, Rare ring and ammy with skills.
I'm planning on getting a Shaftstop (and upgrading when I can) and HoZ and maybe a String for more DR.
Questions: How do you live through a barrage of missle attacks (like the stupid archers that spawn near Shenk). With hammers you have to get in close to use them. It's seems like i'd never be able to live in a place like Radaments lair.
So his damage is good, but his survivablity and versatility is bad. Will this get better when I get some real gear and with a few more points in Holy Shield? I assume a good Holy Shield will help a lot?
