General Patton. One hell of a man.

    General Patton quotes

I love that ornery old bastard. If only we had more men like that today. I imagine that many of our libs will look on this with horror that we had such a man leading the 3rd army. Why, he was a bloodthirsty monster! We can't have that! He might offend somebody! Or... or... he might actually kill people and break things! Oh the horror and agony!

Read this and learn what a warrior is. Then look at what the Democrats are saying. Learn what kind of man it takes to kill the enemy. Then ask yourself, would you want him fighting in Iraq? You know damned well the war would be over in a couple of weeks with somebody like Gen. Patton leading.

Then look at what I've been saying. Look familiar? Damned right there is. Gen. Patton and I think along the same lines. You win by killing the enemy wherever he is, whatever he is doing, whoever he is. You kill him as fast as possible by the most violent means possible. You dont' worry about offending anybody. Hell, if they're offended they'll join the fight and make our job of finding them and killing them all that much easier.

Ask yourself this too. Who would you rather have in a time of war? A blood and guts leader or a milquetoast like Sen. Kerry?

I'd prefer there was no fighting in Iraq, so no.
I feel sorry for you that your definition of winning is not only to kill as many people as humanly possible, but also to hope that you drive even more people into being your enemies so you can kill them too.

I hope someone makes Smeg a general one day so he can get himself killed trying to apply that idiotic philosophy.

A warrior who fights with no honour is no warrior, but a murderer.

I'd want you, Smeg. You're so badass on the internets, you'd surely lead America to victory over her enemies abroad and those evil LIEberals at home. It's really quite sad you can't serve.

Found another great quote from Patton:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_S._Patton#Task_Force_Baum_Controversy

It's wiki, so I dunno if that's accurate though.

Patton is a good song by the Texas A&M band. And I'm no Aggie fan.

Surveying the looted and burned out town of Fredricksburg Virginia (following the Federals retreat in Dec. 1862), an Confederate adjutant turned away from the wanton destruction and inquired. "Sir, what are we going to do about those Yankees"?

Stonewall Jackson turned to him, his blue eyes blazing, and replied: "Kill them, kill them all".

While great generals certainly have their place in history, their rise to fame comes at a terrifying price to all involved.

There is no true glory in war. War should be neither desired nor sought.

I can agree with you for a change. And Smeg, WWII is a little bit different than the war we're fighting today. The rules don't apply.

    who's Face?

and "Patton" was great, one of my favorite war movies, but I wouldn't really equate General Patton with the gibberish that smeg is spewing, which is why I ignored most of his junk which is obviously there just to get a rise out of the libs

    I just said I was.

Well, that's pretty much his raison d'etre.

I noticed late, but wasn't compelled to edit just because you're weird and are an actor instead of a fictional character

I named him by the actor's name because that way I also get to be Starbuck in the original BSG.

I guess I'm stuck doing the piloting, which is ok I guess, since my transporter psychosis keeps from travelling faster
