    Geforce 6800 , s-video problem

on my old laptop i had to go into geforce options and there was a window with 2 screens that could be easily altered to make the laptop have s-video output ...old laptop used geforce as well

my new laptop has a 6800 card and I cant find anywhere where I can edit the card to have s-video output . any ideas?

do you have the latest drivers?

if its a geforce go series
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_mobile_84.63.html

some cards have problems telling if there is anything hooked up to the s-video output, there should be a checkbox "my connected tv does not appear on the list"
Control Panel > Display > Settings Tab > Advanced button > Geforce Tab > Troubleshooting Flyout > "my connected tv does not appear on the list" checkbox

then check the nview display mode flyout and see if your tv is listed

Careful with nvidia drivers. They spit those out with barely any testing at all.

many times I have had to dig up the old drivers because some games would be compleatly ruined by new drivers.
