gear for mf blizzard sorc

i know the basic skill to put in for mf blizzard sorc but then i dont know which gear to use. i am one of the old schooler player of d2 from version 1.08 but then quit a year before 1.10 came out so i dont really know which gear to equip that r good for mf anymore. anyone know which equipment i should use?and can u tell me how much it worth now cuz the economy of d2 seem to change so much over these time

My MF sorc uses the following:
Hcrest[Ptopaz]
Oculus[Ist]
Skullder's Ire[Ptopaz]
Lidless Wall[Pdiamond]
Chance Guards
Goldwrap
Wartravelers
SOJ
SOJ
Tal's Amulet

I've also got gheeds, anni, and a few mf charms in inventory. Total MF is 450 or so, 11 to all skills, and terrible resists. That's what a merc is for though

That gets you to, IIRC over 400mf, which for me is more than enough because of diminishing returns and the like. Plus you have killing power and decent defense/resistance.

That gets you to, IIRC over 400mf, which for me is more than enough because of diminishing returns and the like. Plus you have killing power and decent defense/resistance.

Equipment is ok, but I would go for this gear setup:
Kira's Guardian(Ist)
Slience Phase Blade
StormSheild(Ist)
Tal's Armor(Ptopaz)
Tal's Ammy or Mara's
Tal's Belt
War Travs
Rare mf/resists/stats gloves
Wisp Projecter
Rare mf/caster/life/mana/stats ring or raven frost
Gheeds
Anni sc
mf charms
This should give you almost 50% Dr, maxed resists, and almost 400% mf.
Just my 2 cents for ya.

whatever you use, do NOT, i repeat, NOT use lidless. its a total blowup shield. use stormy, or heck, id even use rhyme before lidless =/

my blizzard sorc uses the following:

Shako (ptopazed)
Tals armor (wanna get COH)
Tals ammy/maras (depends on mf or pvm)
oculus
ryme shield (wanna get a good blocking shield...i.e. visterunt HEATER)
2xsojs
snowclash/tals belt (depends on mf or pvm)
frostburns (rather have magefists...)
sandstorm trek (imo better than wartravs)

I have about 300 mf if I go the tals route....which is plenty...:thumbsup:
