    Forget about Pindle with Hammerdin pls, it isn't good idea at all. Your hammers are hitting the columns and walls constantly, it's just too tight place for a hammerdin...You'll get killed at least 50% of the time. :xx:
    So Pindle is no no for hammerdins! :(

    so im not the only one who hits the damn colums all the time:xx:

    i wonder if its enough to let them come out into the open instead.

    if that does not work decent i will skip pindle with that char and use alva_frost for pindle and meph instead.

    Uhh... my hammerdin seems to do pindle fine... though i dont run him... but when i tried, i had no problems... just position yourself right, and you can get off a two stage hammer field in front of you.

    Code:

    88888.............H.........88888
    88888.......................88888
    88888.......................88888

    something like this IIRC...
    H = hammers
    x = you
    P = Pindle and gang

    Hope this helps =D

    Well I just played my hammerdin and killed Pindle. It wasn't easy at all...their charge is quite deadly and using hammers there isn't easy. Often when you have reached good position, they charge and knock you back. Pindy is always fe too, so that is one more risk when using hammerdin. My necro, sorc and old 1.09 javazon can all kill him faster without being in danger, and they all wear more MF than my hammerdin. I don't believe in single MF char that you can use everywhere, I have 3 or 4 MF chars for different places. Hammerdin is not made to run Pindy :(

    since hammerdins are so good @ wsk runs and pit runs, i wouldn´t bother with pindle

    either use one of your other chars for pindle or just skip him

    thats what i would have done anyway :)

    Hahaha.. okay... =D like i said, I never really ran pindle, but in the few times i tried, I never had any problems. Maybe charging right up ino thier face and laying hammers? That would seem more effective to me. They don't charge at you if you're in thier face right? =D

    ohh.. Pindle FE.. lol

    so i worked on this for a while last night... i was (finally) able to do about 30 pindle runs without dying by doing this:
    run through the door into the area with pindle and minions. as quickly as possible, position yourself just to the left and in front of the first pillar on the right. start casting hammers as quickly as you possibly can. from this exact position - the possible level of error is quite small here - you can get a two-fold ring of hammers going.

    as others have stated, getting hit by the charge thingy knocks you out of position, and it hurts... a lot. the bonus is that your hammers should be doing enough damage to send pindle and co. into hit recovery mode when they get hit. This can stop the charge attack!! so, as long as you have enough faster cast to get a solid field of hammers up, the odds of getting charged are pretty small - they have to get through two rings of fast-moving hammers. an act 2 merc is, of course, required to tank all the lucky ones that get through the hammers, but very few do if you are positioned correctly.

    oh yeah, while doing these tests, i found a Wire Fleece! its not that great, but i was happy. :D

    P = Pindle and gang and also pillars!

    i couldn't figure out how to fit the hammers in there, but you get the idea, right?
