    Gambling question..

I know I'm only on Act III NM, but I'm curious about gambling.

How does one gamble for exceptional/elites when only normal items are listed? Am I not in the right area? =/ I know it's a newbie question.. hehe. But I really am curious. It seems a waste to spend all my gold on rings/ammys.

In nightmare and hell the listed items have a chance to turn up either exceptional or elite after you have gambled for them. Can't quite remember the odds. I'll see if I can find them.

Edit: According to the Arreat Summit you have a 1 in 11 chance to get an exceptional item and 1 in 30 for elite. You can probably only get elite on hell difficulty and exceptional in nm and hell.

Yeah, if you want to gamble a bone knife of some kind you go for the dagger. Only the normal versions show up in the window.

The only exception (sort of) is circlets: If you gamble a circlet, it will always be a circlet, but if you gamble a coronet it has a chance to be a tiara or diadem.

Insanely small. Considering it costs like what, 600k per gamble of that type of armor? Add the % of getting Sacred Armor instead of Ancient or Ornate, add the % of actually getting unique Sacred Armor, and even THEN a large % of the time it will be Templar's! :hanky:

Never used to gamble much, but last night my necro had too much gold to carry so I started gambling ammys, and what pops up? Amulet of Teleportation. Quite happy with that, especially considering he's a Fishymancer. Er.. sorry for the hijack, too. I blame Durf, personally.
