    Gambling is just fun

    Hi all,
Got bored of endless MFing and now I have discovered the pleasures of gambling .
I did some serious goldfinding the other day and spent 16.650k at me ol' mate Gheed's place. No uniques, but I got 20 rings and ammys worth keeping. O yes, 2 set ammys also: :surprise: Tancred's and Iratha's. Not exactly what I am looking for but it's alway nice to see a touch of green between this annoyingly blue jewellery :D

How are your experiences with gambling?

I agree that it is fun - I gamble with low level characters all the time. I get some gold together, check what I still need (boots, belt, ...) and what type of that would be best for me, and start searching. Most of the time I come up with decent rares after a few tries.

    Yeah, gambling is great.

I was gambling circlets the other day and a Kira's popped up.

Not that good an item, but it was nice to see a unique pop up from gambling

All my best Rings & Ammys came from gambling and I use gambling exclusively for these items.

Best unique Ammy I found was Mahim Oak and best unque ring is Ravenfrost.

However, I have gambled Saracens Chance, Cats Eye, Crescent Moon, Atmas Scarab and Rising Sun ammys

and Ravenfrost, Carrion Wind(2), and Dwarf Star.

Also lots of rare +2 skills ammys - never found 1 yet in 1.10.

The amulet I am using now isn't all that great. It's the one piece of equipment on my necro (besides not having Trang's helm or belt) which has been sub par throughout his 81 levels. So I do anything I can to find/gamble/craft amulets. Normally I'll get some good amulets. I find that more often than not I can get a rare amulet from gambling every 3 or 4 times I gamble on an amulet. The only unique I've ever gotten from gambling was Wormskull WAY back in the day, like 3 months after the game came out or something.

Not to hijack the thread, but crafting is a lot of fun too. And even though I haven't gotten the best items from crafting, it's still neat to do. Gambling and crafting are, IMO, two of the most underrated features of this game.
