I dont know the details but apparently someone has found a way to end YOUR auction early at the BID price. The cases I have heard had no buy-outs fwiw. Personally I will be tightening up my starting bids until more info is available. I wonder if it has something to do with tricking the server time into thinking it had expired like a reverse of the old cancel trick?
