Fury / Rabies Pvper

Hi,

I am planning on building my first pvp druid :D and I looked through the guides and this build seems to be the most fun for me, now I just have a few questions about the gear and the charms that I can use.

First my gear:

Helm: Jala's
Armour: Stone r/w in dusk
Shield: Storm (I don't know if I should go for a 2 H weapon can someone tell me the benefits and disadvantages?)
Boots: Ik
Gloves: Bloodfist
Belt: Verdungo
Rings: Carrion wind, Raven
Weapon: Maybe fury mythical sword? or Ebotd?
Amulet: Maras

Now for charms.

I was planning on using a Anni and max dmg/ar/life charms or would shape skillers be more beneficial?

I hope you guys can help me out with this :)

Thanks

If you are trying to maximize damage I would change a few things.

armor I would go with COH for the +skill and other nice mods or even a good bramble for extra rabies damage.

I would stay with stormshield but you could always have a fast twohander in your stash for casters and such.

boots I would go with was travs or gores to help your fury.

Gloves should be trangs if you want more rabies damage.

You want a faster weapon so a botd zerker at the very least and that still remains slow. On the swtich you can get a shield with poison facets and an something fast on the weapon for rabies.

Try and get at least a few ss charms to help you rabies again.

Thanks Beowulf for your input.I am switching my armour to CoH and will get some shape skillers to up my rabies damage. For weapon how does beast do overall? does the fana help any bit? For amulet and ring I was thinking of angelic set for the extra ar since fury is based on ar like zeal. For boots Gore seem ok althou wars have the extra str points.

For the rabies part. What kind of shield should i use? A monarch? and how about the weapon ? A 6 socket Shael phase blade maybe? or i can change 2 of the shaels and put in 2 psn facets?

Please tell me what you think of this.

Thanks

i suggest enigma/coh

enigma= no str problems and more damage/speed

coh keeps you alive from casters

weapon: get a grizwolds caddy with 3 ed/ias and a LO
shael jalas + bloodfists gets you to the 86% fhr breakpoint

this setup is probably the most basic setup and is quite effective

i suggest griz caddy cuz 2 handing imo is hard on a f/r cuz your fury is low damage and suseptible to be hit. 2 hander against chars with attacks you cant block

get a large fat range 5 an hit and run

If I use enigma what armour would be the best option?

Right now I have an Enigma Dusk with like 12xx defence.
What shield has the highest block rate?

I will Shael my Jala's but what should I do about damage reduce?

Also how does the Carion wind bug work and what does it boost?

if you want no strength use breast plate(more points for vita)

i prefer elite light armor becasue I dotn like to switch out items when i die to regear. You have the str to equip up to your enigma then enigma str boosts the rest

verdungo+ ss= 50% dr

carrion bug: put no points in poison creeper, equip the carrion wind. You get a free lvl 21 poison creeper synergy. its a good point saver but takes up a ring slot (there maybe better options for a ring such as raven/angelics

Ok so if I setup my gear like this would I have a decent char in PvP?

Helm: Jala's (shael)
Armour: Enigma dusk
Shield: Storm (Cham)
Belt: Verdungo
Boots: Still don't know if I should go with gore or wars.
Gloves: Trang oul for psn dmg
Amulet: Angelic
Rings: Angelic
On switch: 4*psn facets socket monarch (still have to make so I can change the shield) and a 6*socket shaeled phaseblade.

Charms. Some shape skillers and a anni with some ar/life or max dmg/ar

Do this: Use a gris caddy 3x ed/ias 1 Lo for your main weapon, use a psn faceted deaths web+ psn faceted monarch on switch. When u infect someone with rabies and switch the -res bonuses will apply.

How much would a gris caddy be with ed/ias and a Lo in there?

I play on europe

rough estimate:
4 sock gris caddy with good % ed - mal
Lo rune= 6 ist
Now depends how perfectionist u want to be and what jewels u want to put in anyway:
40/15 ias= 2 hr
39/15= 8 ist
38/15= 7 ist
and so forth
a 33 or 34/15 will run u about 3 ists apiece so that might be a not so expensive and viable solution.

U could also use a grief phaseblade, your fury will be a little slower (5 fpa vs 4 fpa with caddy) but u will gain more physical damage (the caddy with jewels will do around 2xx-2xx, the grief phase (assuming a good roll) 4xx-4xx. both will have 20% deadly strike).

no posion creeper, use carrion ring for the syngery.

The best gear setup imo will be: (agaisnt melee)

Cerebus bite (with 5/5 psn facet)
grief phaseblade or 4s griz caddy (3x ed/ias jewel and a Lo or um)
dusk enigma
verdungo
stormshield
gore rider
trang glove
carrion ring
angelic ring
angelic ammy

Hey just a quick question. Death web for rabies or a phaseblade 6 socket 4*5/5 psn facets and 2*shaels? or just 6*psn facets

Which on of those two would be better?
