Fury/Flame?/Rabies Wolfy on ladder, make me want to make a wolf.

Well, that title should bring some attention :p

I currently have 1 dueler up ( meaning I do have others but just 1...uhm that stands up to its name )

This means with wealth is immensly limited :(

So I want to make a wolf druid, not yet sure on what to make excatly. So far I've read stoutes/rang fury/rabies guide... and well, I made it once..wasnt to shabby but I really couldnt afford it :(

So are there any other worthy types of wofl duelers? eg. Pure fury, fury/flame ( Im not gonna go pure flame :p ) etc.

I really actually need effective but nice ( read cheapish ) gear selection.

    Help me.

 ...you want to be a wolf...look closely at the swinging pendulum...you want to be a wolf

I haven't tried out fire or rabies yet, but my fury/summons hybrid is awesome fun...he has a ribcracker and its spandastasctically fun to hit monsters with. With a shael in it its hard for my dial up to keep up with the hit animations.

tha also what i like about it. with a druid, he has built in life leech (could also get mana leech in a skill if ya want), and his damage after full fury tops zealots for raw damage, and he's faster too. Add a few summons and you've got one heck of a team...fury death...rawr. and they are bar none the coolest looking charectar in the game. funky stuff lol

Pure Fury doesn't break the bank per say but that depends on what you want to use it for. I'm spending every pretty penny I have on my druid because it's my last character but you could get a less expensive Fury wolf that will be very effective in PvM. Tell us what you want to use your werewolf for and the answers will pour in.

Ah, I should have been a bit more clear ;/, I havent touched a monster other then for leaching exp since end 1.09. Im pvp focused only, I dont really have the time for anything else.

I could well posibly liquidate a few ancients chars to finance my new project, wich will either be a wolfie, or the new assa type by Arbs.

This ends up to a max of 8-10 ists, could very well become 15-20 ists depending on how much I sell.

Well I pumped about 25 or so sojs into my gear to get all perfect gear but with 15 ists you could probably build a good fury druid, if you're on ladder it it may not cost as much to get the main gear but the charms will cost more. If you're looking for a versatile wolf, ink has a very good all-around build. My build is more a BvC of Druids.

Well my build doesn't uise shields, I duel casters mostly and pub builds. Not much melee, if you want to duel melee you should go for an all-around build.

Ah well, I've sayd im not going for the standard fury/rabies, ( thats allround right?). Ill most defenitly go for max block though.

What kind of charms are we talking about, 100+ar/30+life types?

Use shapers with life Rabbitz. +shape skill adds to lycantropy (life) and fury/rabies (damage). Much better option.

If you're going fury/rabies then shape lifers are better but for pure fury AR/Life are the way to go IMO.

Ok if you do pure fury do ar lifers.

If you do fury/rabies do skiller lifers.

Well if your going with a sheild do a greif phase or a ebotd zerk. You can use a eth oath crytic sword or eth oath scrouge. But if you fallow what to the point says scrouges blows on druids. I say eth oath scrouges any ways. The extra range helps out. But ya all ways do a shealed stormsheild. Get a jalals its really well rounded. You could skimp on the skiller lifers. But you will find latter on that they really help out over plains.

Puma what's you take on the Oath Scourge? for Pure Fury. I've always loved flail type weapons and I'd love to throw one into my guide but have yet to try one.

I would actually want to be pure fury..but will I still stand a fighting chance without another backup skill?
