Well, it's more "kill x creatures, get y rewards" there. More boring and predictible, like farming. Mfing in D2 wouldn't be farming because you never know what you're gonna get.

That would have something to do with the fact that there is no MF in WoW, and the game works much smoother because of that.

pff, having monsters drop the same items is boring. ppl just do loads of kill Xyz monster runs to get the shiny items i'da thought. They do in GW anyway.

Not really, theres more to it than that ...lots more.

Which is why I never came back to DII.

Besides, it beats MF;ing for hours on end only to find nothing.

If that happens in GW I will never touch GW again.
Cause I like the random item generation in Diablo2
"Oh, baal just dropped me a ethereal godly sash!" For example.

mfing for hours on end should only be done if you actually like playing pVm...
Since trading/shopping's much more profitable and all.

There is no PvM ...it's PvE, which is the same thing.

Anyways, I tend to play the market at the auction house ...making piles of gold in the process.

In WoW you can''t trade like in DII, most items bind on equip or bind on pickup. The best stuff can only be found in what are called raid instances ... and to go in there you need a group of 10, 20 or 40 depending on the instance.

Some raids take 3+ hours because of the size of the place, and some of the bosses in there actually take intelligent strategy to even have a shot at killing. Most bosses will eat you for dinner and spit you right back out if you are not geared properly.

Ragnaros in Molten Core for one will make short work of you if you:

    A) Have little or no Fire resist
    B) Attack him at the wrong time
    C) Are standing in the wrong place at the wrong time
    D) Get turned into "The Bomb" ... you explode doing mass fire damage to all around you and get launched into the air, and take thousands of damage when you land.

Onyxia will also make short work of you as well.

Fun to do, but it's all above and beyond anything in DII.

So i can get gg'd like Durf was? nothx!

Although, it'd definitely make the whole ebay/paypal thing easier, i'd be too tempted to rack up mass charges. Debit + cash ftw. Besides, i've already been turned down twice -_-.

It might work with something like a mastercard debit card. blizz uses it to confirm age.

Anyways all you need to do is use it to set up the account, then you can use game cards if you want to keep playing.

either that or convince someone to use thier card and buy you a month ...and give them the cash.

    td canada trust =/

It only had options for mastercard/visa/amex i think.
eVen still though, I've seen it played - couple friends have it - and i really dislike the setup. Not being able to trade the cool items, and limited pvp. It's not as stifling as GW pvp, but it's still ew.
