I prefer hybrid assassins using ww/kicks/traps.

They are the most versatile dueling character concerning tactical and strategical possibilities and my assassin never gets boring for me. that's why they are my favorites.

I also enjoyed my rabies/fury druid but he wasnt as powerful as he could have been. to make him gg he needs gg equipment with lots of frw since he cant tele. its something different and very fun since when you bite them with rabies, its usually over. and they complain that you're a haxxor and what not since poison cant kill...but rabies can. its also lots of fun to bite a minion or mercenary and watch him poison the player and then the player dies. that kind of kill is quite a satisfactory kill feeling wise

Poison Javazon is a pretty cool and rare build, seen like 2-3 of those scince the game came out. Poison necro is pretty cool too, but not as rare. Holy Freeze zealots are pretty decent and very rare aswell, but Zeal isnt too effective in PvP. If you want to be truly unique make a Hybrid that is all messed up, like a dual elemental sorc (orb and fire wall ) or a Flaming Fury druid. Pretty gimped tho, you might get tired after getting a 1-10 Kill-Death ratio.

I had a poison java and still have her, though without equip but she is very good. And the best part of poison java's are that most ppl think you are a basic furyazon. 60k plague javelin or was it 70 makes nicely dmg. With eni + spirit monarch, no one can't catch you :wink3: Reminds me of a caster. But far much better.

Yeah, and with a -20/+20 shield, 45+ Bramble, Trang gloves and +skill eq with a T, anni and 9 java sks you could easily hit 130-140k over ~20 sec. Would loose a lot of FRW but for almost x2 the damage id say its worth it.

One shotting people is hilarious. And when they haven't see u charge yet...and are circling around the hammers...BANG!

WW/Sin is real fun too...but can only get godly with REAL expensive gear...and is tough to play.

Well this build came to me when I rolled a +3 superior GM to a 5 socket instead of the 4 I would of hoped for.
( Back when MLD is still capped at 58 )

Hybrid Zon. lvl. 58 end build.
max Jab. I don't like bm cs, jab for true melee
max Inner sight.
1 pt in all passive skill tree but decoy, valk, and Perice.
max Guided Arrows.
9 passive skill gcs TP tome and some fine small charm of vita would do you nicely.

Gear.
CTA GM bow. ya you heard me. those rock hard.
Guillaume's Face. Perfered to be socketed with 40ed/15ias jewel.
Shaftstop, or Duress runeword, up to you. don't forget the 40/15 if it's shaftstop.
Titans, eth preferred.
Whitehan's Guard, or a Spirit. prefer whitehans sheal'd. the 60% fbr and 55% icb is just sexy.
Gore Rider.
String of Ears belt.
20%ias/2 to passive glove is recommanded, or any other 20% ias glove.
2x Raven, Cat's eye, or Raven, Anglic's Ring n Ammy.

Summery.
Jab deals about 1k to 1.7k depends on your eth and ed on your titans.
the GM bow can hit around 2.5k. very sexy.
Innersight at level 42ish can lower people's BASE* def by 1.5-1.8k.

*Skill Innersight reduce base def. before other mod such as holy shield, barb's shout is applied. aka, reduce item armor value. most people in MLD field at level 58 will end up with 200 def or maybe far in the negatives for casters.
Jab vs Melee, bow vs Cast. I had much fun with this build back in 1.10 before I quit.

Now I'm back in to D2 for the PvP cuz i miss it so. If anyone wanna see this build in action, I'm on USEast Ladder. still 58. trying to gear her up.

I have one of these.

She's running on es - 95% absorb. There is no points into vita; all into energy. She teles around with an infinity, so it's not quite 200fcr, but the next one down. It's pretty funny until your merc dies =X But all in all, it's very fun dealing about 6.1k worth of fire damage to your enemies who have been convicted. It owns most characters that are hella slow on their feet and have poor block/fhr.

I duel with a sometimes. It just gets annoying because you run out of gold and all..
