    Fun with Iron Golems

If you make an iron golem out of Ethereal Edge(indestructible) it should never die until you do, right?

Also, Made one the other day out of a Cruel Great Maul of Ages (indestructible) we'll see what happens with that....

One time i tried to make one out of an indestructible crystal sword(these not metal?--handles)...maybe that's the only reason why it didn't work.

So my golem SHOULD, be indestructible. but probably isn't bummer.
    Just a thought.

I've heard this isn't the case. I think it says in the FishyMancer guide that an IG made from IK Maul (which is indestructible) needs to be replaced every so often.

I recently got one of these in trade for a rune, and the only thing I can think of doing with it is making an IG out of it. However, I'm kinda worried that I'll miss the slow effect of my trusty old CG when it comes to boss killing. Anybody got any thought on how they measure up?

wow i never really thought of that, if it works imagine how good in pk's it would be, u could make a build strictly around iron golem and indestructable items, another thing is say ur xfering or somethin, get(im sure u kn othis one) then make IG from their good item they dropped, my frend made ig form someone tal armour they didnt kno wat hitt'm then he jsut left

No it doesn't work. I beleive the misconception came up when Patsy made a post joking about it if it could happen and everyone took it seriously.

    best thing to do...

is join dupe / cheat games where the person claims they can dupe an item - they will often throw a nice item on the ground so you can "trust" them - thatys when you make an IG - they go nuts

also works for Anni trade games

or, is there an item that has DR, and regen health? or just high DR and resistances, im thinking that if you have enough damage taken out, then your golem can regenerate faster than the damage he recieves.
