Full Tal Set MF Sorc

I've been gone for a while and have decided to come back since the news of Diii. I had some forum gold left at D2JSP and just picked up a full tals set for a new sorc. What should the rest of my gear be for a viable MFer? Should I make her a meteorb, bliz, light, or what?

Assuming you're on ladder, I would advise going with a spirit, magefists, two fcr rings or SoJs, and war travs or treks.

Depending on how you like to MF, you can play blizz sorcs for boss killing (and baals), meteorbs for running areas like the pits and AT, or perhaps a lite sorc if you can get your hands on an infinity. The lite sorc is the fastest, but you need a solid merc in order to get nice speed.

If you just want to MF Hell Meph or Andy, I'd suggest going with a pure blizzard with 2x nagels, frostburns or chancies (depending on energy), spirit monarch, and gull/rhyme grim shield for your switch. Remember to socket your helm/armor with ptopazes.

If you want some more versatility, a meteorb or cl/orb work well with similar equipment.

I think any use of the full tal's set screams out for your sorc to be dual-element since the mods on the orb are so nice. The two obvious builds are to make your main killing skills fireball+meteor+frozen orb or chain lightning+lightning+frozen orb. I personally find the second option more rewarding to play and indeed more effective in a larger number of areas...but the first is also popular.

One last thing: If you don't use the fire tree(pure blizz sorc/CL+FO/etc) then use trang oul gloves instead of magefist for the extra poison resist.

one point in warmth might worth it, since poison is the least important resist.

Trang's gives cold res, not poison res, right? Cold res is much more important.
