Full set duels

Thinking of starting up a full set duel tourney for fun but first I want to know what you guys think of it.
I'm thinking normal rules like one piece of absorb, no pots, no im, etc..etc.. and also no foh seeing as how the gris set is awesome foh gear (with all the sockets,block,stats,life, and resist)

Anyways, tell me what you think of this kind of dueling.
Some ideas:
Ik set bvc with gg amulet that has teleport charges.

This could be potentially very entertaining, count me in. Are you on or off ladder (or east or west for that matter) there DayDream? I call Nat's set ghost. :laughing:

USWest/USEast Ladder but feel free to start a tourney of your own with this idea.
Sins are probably going to dominate if a tourney does occur. Chaos claw with full set bonuses (30DR)

Ideas/Rules are welcomed~

I'd go for a tal sorc myself, I have a hard time seeing someone beating a tele spamming sorc with only an ammy.

bah a desync charging hammerdin can, but idk how much of a fcr bp you're going to have w/ full gris.

question:
i have a zon wearing full deciple and another wearing full mav. is any set okay as long as it's "full"? i've contemplated a orphan frost zealot for quite a while.

Vidala's weapon/shield slot is the Bow of the set, and the armour of the set is Vidala's Ambush, a leather armour with low def and other meh mods. Maybe you meant Iratha's Finery? The set that gives all the resist and +max res%

I'd go with Orphan's Call set too. It's got that awesome helm (Guillaume's Face), the shield with the highest blocking in the game (Whistan's Guard), the belt is a dual-leech piece of junk, but at least the gloves are 20% IAS gloves with nice AR boost (Magnus' Skin).

Most important is that it leaves the Ammy and Ring slots open, as well as weapon and armour slots too. Gogo gadget Grief! You could probably put it on a Smiter, Zealot or Werewolf and still do pretty good with it.

I'd love to do a pimped put IK WW barb. 40/15's in the Maul, Ber runes in the Helm/Armour slots for a total of 44% DR with the set. Charms full of AR/lifers or max lifers. I'm actually surprised how well my old IK barb did in random pubs, he was my first ever fully twinked character, I even scored the name Monolith_Man for him on USWSCL.

My Tal's MF Meteorb already competes pretty well in random nooby pubs, with a bit of skill I've taken down some pretty tough BvC's, the Leap-tele-WW kind that usually 1-hit KO a char like mine. 95% of the time spent teleing out of leap range, 5% of the time actually trying to hurt the other guy with Orb or Fire Ball spam. I've also duelled Windy's that couldn't even touch me because 8 fpa tele >> 11 fpa tele.

Any set is okay as long as you are wearing all the pieces of that certain set at the time/during the duel.


Majority of people who are interested... East/West?

use that and another full set like deciple then you automatically win because you have two full sets.
