Well I have a FO/CL Sorc, Im building her for MF......
Some say that this build is not good and I should have went with FO/Meteor
Well this is my first sorc and first MFer

My equipment are these (unless I get better ones)

Occy 3/5 cold facet (Gull at switch)

All together I get +9 to skill
70 FCR (SUCKS BAD I need more!)
With Lvl 29 FO, 20 Ice Bolt, and 29 Cold Mastery
As for CL its 20 CL. 10 Charged Bolt, 10 Lightning and 10 at Light Mastery

My Problem is my FO damage is around 450-500 Is that the right ammount???
and my CL is around 2-800 problem here is that the damage is unoticable at Hell its so small!

last is WOULD i BE BETTER OFF WITH TAL TASHAS SET?

The Orb damage sounds perfectly useable - bear in mind 450-500 is PER SHARD, and if the Orb passes through a monster, that monster will get hit a huge number of times (maybe by every shard, or a certain fraction of them - I don't know the exact mechanics). You're right though - 2-800 CL isn't going to do a lot in Hell. You'll need to max LM if you want CL to do anything useful.

I think there's a mistake in your equipment list - P Diamond Splendor? You can't socket a runic item, can you?

I think most people go for a FO/Meteor sorc because Meteor is the most damaging spell per hit, so even if you don't max the spell you will still do a couple of thousand damage, enough to take out a boss if you have a tanking merc. I also thought that I would be able to use the lvl 10 lightning (prerequisite for mana shield) on my sorc to take out fire immunes on NM/Hell, but it does up to 120 dmg or so, also not worth the effort.

Runic items can't be socketed indeed, AFAIK.

Your Frozen Orb damage is just where it should be.
Your FCR is just 8 below the setting you need to cast Lightning and Chain Lightning at the next frame speed, otherwise fine.

Why are you mentioning Icebolt?
I want to remind all that +skills in a skill that gives synergies DO NOT BENEFIT THE SYNERGY! You need to have hard skill points in a skill that gives synergy for the synergy to have any effect.

The points in CB seem misplaced. It will not affect your CL damage but by maxing, L, CL and LM you would have been better off.

About your CL damage you must be mistaken you say you have:
20 CL
10 CB
10 L
10 LM
+9 all skills

Than your CL damage should be 6.5-2740.6 and not 2-800
Now please check. Do you actually have 10 hard skill points in CB, L and LM, otherwise its no miracle that your CL damage is so low since it is not synergized at all!

For synergies to work you need to place skillpoints in the skill that gives synergies, skillpoints that you gain with each lvl. +skills from your items WILL NOT work for synergies!

Tal's set would not be bad for your CL/FO Sorceress, since it generally good for any kind of Dual-tree Sorceress.

True. My CL/FO sorc use Shako, Tal amu/arm/belt, 1*soj, 1*nagel, magefist, ocu, storm, sandstorm. And she's doing really well in hell, even in players 8 games. :clap:
Cant think of any way to reach 2-800 dmg with CL if you have 9 +skills (and 10 in CB, L, LM and 20 in CL) :scratch:

Yes, all of my so cold skills are just from the +9
Well at least I know more now, ill just use this guinee pig sorc to rush people in norm (like ill get anything good even with 350 mf)

Iam also going to stop playing nonladder since its boring and im creating a chara in ladder

Are you sure?. With your FO you should eat him for breakfast. Be sure that you aim right, so your orb "explodes" on mephisto, then it'll do alot of dmg.
