frost zealot build - HC (suggestion)

Hey guys, I'm not really new to this game, I can remember when you could craft rings with +skills to specific character classess. Ah, the old days.

Anywho, I quit for about 6 months, and now I'm back, just enough time for my account and everything I had ever worked for to expire. yay.

Anywho, I have been reading the Frost Zealot guide and the only thing that I'm really concerned about, is the cold immunes in hell HC. Since you only die once in HC that's the really troubling thing. I was wondering if anyone can say if it is easy or hard with the following build:

- 20 Zeal
- 20 Holy Freeze
- 20 Resist Cold
- 20 Salvation
- 5 or more in Holy Shield

Then I thought that the immunes to cold wouldn't take much damage, and my base lvl20 zeal damage wouldn't be great enough to really hurt them, so I considered the balance:

- 20 Zeal
- 20 Holy Freeze
- 20 Resist Cold
- 10 Sacrifice
- 10 Salvation
- 5 or more in Holy Shield

Can anyone lend me a suggestion as to which build to follow, or if they followed one how it's turned out?

Thanks.

Welcome back.

I recommend cold damage all the way, and as a backup attack Vengeance+Conviction like Wurmer claimed in the Tesladin Guide.

Zeal: 20 (Or even less)
Holy Freeze, Resist Cold, Salvation: 20
Vengeance: 1
Conviction: 1-5
Holy Shield: The rest

With some decent CB gear, your damage won't matter as much in general for PvM...

Hi, I don't get it! Why would you pump 20 points into resist cold when Salvation does the same thing (plus it has fire and lightning). I'm still new at this game so please bear with me. Am I missing something? Is it better to max each resistance than putting points into Salvation? Also why would you put hard earned points into both? Thanks

Resist Cold gives a better synergy bonus to Holy Freeze than Salvation does. Salvation, however, is a slightly more useful party-friendly aura, so typically, a frost zealot focusing on elemental damage rather than physical (usually ones who take the CB route, or don't max holy shield) max both of them, since they both synergize the builds main aura: Holy Freeze.

Synergizing resist cold /w salvation must for frost zealots You can make up the rest in vengeance with + skill stuff try using vengeance with holy freeze and you'll **** your pants /w the amount of damage you'll do :p
