My frost-zealot killed Nightmare Andariel this morning - think I might leave him sunbathing in Lut Gholein for a day or two now, he's earned a rest and I think I might start a new character just for some variety.

On a different note, does anyone else here dream about D2? Ever since I started playing hardcore, I've had regular dreams in which my characters die - once or twice they've been so realistic that I've actually had to check in the morning to see if the character was alive or not. I'm hoping I'm not the only one...

Last night the 1.10 Optimist MP group kicked off our latest campaign, after pat-ing and mat-ing our SP Ladder archery group last week. We're going non-ladder this time, and fully twinked, so the minions of evil are in for a beating. My new character is Thoth, an aspring PvP charger/smiter. He's much easier to level up in a group, where I can pick the monsters to pick off. Having a lot of fun richocheting around the screen like a pinball, although I need to find some mana leech for the next session.

I've got a Herald of Zakarum and the runes to upgrade it sitting in my 1.09 stashes, so he should have a nice end-game shield for Smiting with. Now I just have to cajole Meph into coughing up a Redeemer for me.

Speaking of which, my SPL javazon continues to loot Mephisto. Found a bone knife this morning, which has been donated to my grateful hammerdin.

It was very easy with maxed Fire Ball(dmg 1.1k ) and some stuff to twink.
Althou something happened with ATMA and I went back 2 levels..

Well, from act1 andariel, to Slayer status, in 2 hours. Not bad

Its 23.49 now, gotta get some sleep. Gotta find some baalruns tomorrow..

Well, I went for a bike ride today (first real ride of the season :clap, still sitting here in my spandex all tuckered out. Went to the bank. Nothing all that exciting.

I did learn that there is justice in the world. ESPN is doing a poll on the world's "ultimate athlete". I thought that Barry Bonds would trounce Lance Armstrong solely because many of my fellow US folk refuse to realize that wonderfulness that is professional cycling. However, at last check Lance is beating Bonds 78% to 22%! :clap: Only 2 months to the next Tour de France! Woot!

Not so surprising Kaysaar. Despite his accomplishments, many people just don't like Barry Bonds. Plus there are suspicions of steroid use, although nothing has been confirmed.

ive been working on my untwinked hardcore blade fury assassin, she just got to level 18, and i decided to take a little break so i wouldnt go crazy...

anyone know how the andariel bug works? you know, the way you can get her to do her special first time kill drop every time you kill her, unless you guys feel that that isn't legit, which although it is quite cheesy, i dont think it to be cheating per-se

If you wished to avoid the bug the only way is to either not kill her at all, or not talk to anyone after you do kill her. So it's acceptable because it's unavoidable...

Got my meterorb sorc to act II Hell. I played all of act I on players 5. I don't think I can take the slow pace much longer, so I think the rest of hell is players 1.

Did some pindle running with my fishy and got a glorious axe. It only took two hours. :rant:

Here is to hoping I can find a wiz spike in the pits. The occy is making me go :cheesy: with all the teleporting.
