Frenzy weapon

I need some advice, my Frenzy barb lvl 72 (Ash's build) who was great fun in NM, hit a brick wall in Hell Act 2. My fault tho I gambled on Sword mastery and failed to find any decent swords.

My conc barb recently found a couple of better swords and now I'm trying out different combinations, any idea's on which, if any would make a good combo.

I'm on ladder but prefer to get mostly thru on my own and only party up for ancients usually.

Djinn Slayer 83-147 (1 skt only) fast + Fire damage
Bloodletter 31-97 +4 to Sword Mastery
Plague Bearer 31-150 + 300 Poison
Phase Blade +IAS, 6 LL with Fools, but only 31-80+ damage

Should I persevere or start a new barb as I have better axes!

Djinn Slayer and Plague Bearer look like the must swords since they're the ones with decent dmg, I would say hold out a little longer, you can still lvl in nm and early hell and there are ways to get around poor dmg

I would advise using what I am using ATM - 2x Lightsabres. cheap, ITD, nice dmg and nice looks. I also work through Ash's guide, good job with it!

Bad swords

I play SP with my sword frenzier. I dont mule or trade so he has to use what i find. Onestly my swords sucks, but not as bad as yours. He uses two unique swords; The Atlantian (dmg 65-152) and Headstriker (42-172(with clvl 85)). Theese swords also provide a lots of deadly strike, stats (31 str + dex and vit) and PMH. For a clvl 85 barb he kills to slow of course. The funny bit is that I reasently got from Hell Meph an eth. Bonehew. It has over 800 max dmg. I changed it with the obsolete Hone Sudan my poor merc uses, and it totally rocks. My might merc now kills A LOT faster that I manage.

I went through a fun spell using bloodletter and some other piece of crap, I was lucky enough to come by 1 lightsabre and then a second some time later

atlantean + headstriker ain't too bad, could be better, but those are a couple servicable weapons, glad you guys are having fun with the build, and I remember finding my eth bonehew, I actually went and revived my long dead merc
