Frenzy Barb w/mace? need advice

i made my 2nd barb build a frenzy barb, maxing out frenzy, doubleswing and mace mastery. I chose mace mastery before I understood the weapon layout (i.e. open sockets and attack speed) and b/c most of the weapons i had from my 1st barb were mace class. also, wanted a frenzy barb with high damage but now that is what i seem 2 lack.

Does anyone have suggestions on what weapons/rune words to use with my mace frenzy barb??? was thinkin maybe famine and fury in legendary mallets but this may be too slow 4 attack speed...???

I guess I would select Stormlash (preferably ethereal and zoded) and Eternity in an eth scourge. However, there are better axe or sword builds, you can use BotD+Death then.

Stormlash/Schaeffer's Hammer makes for quite a stylish build, and you should be able to obtain top end damage.

If you can afford a 'Faith' Rogue mercenary, then Scaeffer's Hammer (Shael) with an ethereal Stone Crusher (Zod) on the off-hand makes for an extremely sexy-stylish build (IMO). You won't hit top-notch speed, but your damage per hit will be amazing, and all the harem girls in Lut Gholein will be quite charmed by your Barbarian.

You all are making me feel just a little sad I didn't make my frenzier into a mace-wielder, those are some sexy setups. Certainly get points for going against the status quo, too.

Hmm, Stormlash and Schaefer's are a bit redundant, as both have ctc static and it will stop working quite quickly anyway, but it's surely a nice combo. I happen to have found Schaefer's and an eth Stormlash in this season, maybe I'm starting one, but I still think that eth Eternity as the secondary weapon will be better, as it deals much more damage and you already have CB and ctc static with Stormlash. An eth Demon Limb might also work well, it has auto-repair... and L23 enchant, that adds ar and its added fire damage is probably useful as well.

Re: Eternity: I've got to work with what I can get, and playing legitimate Single Player only I'm not likely to stumble across a Ber and Sur any time soon. Hence the pairing of the 'Lash and Schaeffer's. I'm sure Eternity would be quite effective as well.
