Freaks and Geeks: the ultimate tv show

man i remember when this show was on the air back then. i tried to catch as many eps as possible but didn't. was wandering around target last night when i came across the series (only ran for one season :() for 50$. instantly bought it. watched a bunch of them last night before i had to turn in for bed.

anyone else happen to catch this show? i can't believe they cut it after only one season. i don't watch much tv at all. it runs most of the time whenever i'm at home for just background purposes even though it may as well be shut off. and reality tv totaly blows. the only other series i ever watch is angel and that's coming to an end here soon :(

anyways; damn good show! wish this would one have ran for a long time.

49.99 before tax us dollars

the lowest priced one season tv show you could find. everything else was 60-80. every damn tv show there was is on dvd now and freaks and geeks was the cheapest out of them all.

too bad it ended :(

so sad

Not to burst your bubble....but....

I know I can get "Friends", "Sex in the City" and "Gilmore Girls" for $30. $50 for one season of any show is pretty high.

more power to ya bro.

i live kind of in the boondocks of minnesota. if i want movies or go to a theater i travel about 40 mins to get to what you could call a city. population of about 13,000. your basics are there ie: walmart, target, mall with 3 good stores, etc etc etc etc. nothing like a best buy or circtiut city. have to either travel 1.5 hours to fargo for that stuff or go roughly 4 hours to minneapolis where stuff is probably a lil cheaper. gaswise i'd probably save more money buying it up around here than traveling that far.

plus fargo is the worse city in the world. it seriously is. i'd rather be stuck in downtown minneapolis travel in a damn traffic jam than drive in fargo at any time of the day. the people drive worse, the roads are worse...and here's the real kicker: roads only go one way. there are like no side roads. so if you accidently miss your turn you have to spend an hour backtracking through the damn city to get back on your road. i only go up there if someone else is driving

edit-
i was a lil off on those prices but all were more expensive than freaks and geeks which was 49.99 before taxes. the highest were the soprano episodes. i think i'll pick up a season or 2 over there next weekend seeing as how i've only seen maybe 3 episodes and totaly loved them.
