Forum Trade question

What does "bin" mean? I assume its the same as "bid".

Also, people talk about sending mules and stuff, but how do they do that without being in-game? I'm completely oblivious to this, so a basic explanation of forum-trading would be great.

BIN means buy it now, i.e. once you offer the BIN price (if there is one), you have a deal automatically.

People send mules when it's difficult to find a common time for meeting on bnet. You will still have to put or replace the items on the mule, of course. It needs a bit trust, so people usually won't do it when trading with newcomers.

bin = Buy it Now. There's a list of abbreviations above in the Sticked thread titled "Newcomer Forum Stickied Threads"

Mule trade is where you create an account that you don't play the game with, it has one or more level one characters and you mule or transfer items to that mule in a trade to someone else. You give that person the account name and password to that account. Useful when you can't meet ingame.
Example: You're trading with someone wh's online only when you are at work/school so you do a mule trade. Hel'll also leave the items you were trading for if applicable. Requires a measure of trust.

Edit: Damn you Kris. :p
